I am a hardcore fan of Batman - of course I won't ignore those games. :) But only problem when it comes to my argument - the games are not movies or a TV Show. I want to see Batman MOVIES done the same way, you see. And just for the record, I kinda dislike Nolan's flick for changing Batman into his own liking.

@Symos The only thing about TAS that sucked was that it did poorly in prime-time. But I suppose that's not really TAS's fault, but rather the prime-time viewers who only bothered to watch live action stuff, regardless of quality.

@Symos Actually, as much as I love it; I can find it. No one dies - not even a minor character, or even a character appearing for a brief minute. "Oh, but it's for kids", you might say? Well, so are Disney movies. And guess what? Characters can die in Disney movies. Yes, I know it's because of the retarded censorship - it's still a flaw. Overall, as good as this show IS - it would have been better if it was made to be more adult than it already is. But like I said, I still love it like hell.

My favorite part of this is the Jokers theme variation from 3:05 to 4:00, it sounds so sinister under the light hearted theme, though halfway it does cut to the Oh my god! Stop him! like feel. Its really amazing what Shirley Walker accomplished in the series music tastes. its too bad she's deceased (1947-2006) RIP Shirley Walker, your music will always be right up there with the great ones like Danny Elfman and John Williams.

True that. There has never been a better set up for Batman than this. Not to much useless characters, no waisted potential of characters, realistic villains with realistic motives, gothic setting - just as Batman should be. Perfect.

It was released legally, by La La Land Records (a legitimate specialty label; Google them), but because of musician re-use fees and the contract with Warner Bros., it was limited to 3,000 copies, and of course, at THAT many, it SOLD OUT. You'll have to hunt down a copy on eBay, or used copies (try asking at SoundtrackCollector com).
