and 'in my penis, he'll be a queef'

  • i love sutton! i'm seeing her in shrek!

  • Sutton Foster is the greatest thing ever!

    SUTTON FOSTER FANS UNITE!

  • LMAOO. gotta love sutton =)

  • luv the facial expressions

  • AHHHHHHH! MET HER LAST NIGHT AT SHREK!

  • sweet! how was she in person, and how was the show???

  • she is the sweetest person! the show is amazing and if it doesnt get sum tony noms, i will kill the tony comitee people

  • Well...it's Shrek. Not exactly your typical Tony show, is it? It's almost Disney, and it's not innovative Disney (The Lion King). I'm sure she's great in it (as she is in everything), but I'll be very surprised if she gets a nomination.

  • well, u haven't seen christopher sieber as farquaad then

  • No, I know the cast is talented, but the Tonys are biased toward whatever the "cool" show of the year is. *coughSpringAwakeningAvenueQ* That show is very rarely a kids' show.

  • She still might get Best Featured Actress or something

  • okay, if you do that cough cough thing, mention maybe Phantom even though it lost for book and score and into the woods was honored by al cept best musical by them, or 42nd street, where many critics said the only amazing part was choreography, but cause it was popular it beat out the far better WOMAN OF THE YEAR... oh by the way, if they were biased towards the "cool" and "popular" Avenue Q would have lost to that popular Shlock WICKED which is an abhoration to the book its based on by Maguire

  • I never said anything about popular, only cool. Popular and cool tend not to go together with theatre, because theatre snobs don't tend to like what is popular. Wicked, Phantom, etc, are popular; Avenue Q, Hair, etc are cool. Some shows are both: Spring Awakening, etc.

As for Wicked, it's very different from the book and what Maguire was trying to do with it, but I liked it (yes, I read and enjoyed the book).

I try not to judge shows not for how they're viewed, but how I see them.

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

    Oh God.

    That made my life. :D

  • omg i luv sutton so so much!!
