QUESTION - So i went 2 my doc this morning and got my 4th shot of estrogen 40mlg and he aslo gave me SPIRONOLACTONE 25mg TABLETS #120. Says should take 4 tabs a day so i'm guessing 2 in the morning and 2 at night. Would u happen to know what this will do to me etc. From what i know I THINK it's to boost my sexual appetite and to block something. Hope u have the time to reply thanks :)

@secretacct0125 - Female hormones will need to be taken for the rest of your life as a T-girl. However, the required dosage will decrease if you have an orchiectomy or do the full SRS. SRS (and orchiectomy) both remove the major source of testosterone production from your body. At that point you will not require as much estrogen to keep you at desired hormone levels.

I'll just assume you haven't done enough research. For a person who transitions from male to female, she has the option of undergoing vocal therapy. There is also surgery that can be taken to feminize one's voice. By the way. Everyone was born a woman. The amount of hormones a person receives while in the womb will cause a person to have a male or female body. You were a woman once Knoblauchwesen ;-).

Its not all that to look like a woman. If you grew up knowing you should have been a woman, have a tendency to more feminine things, and hate being seen as and labeled as male, you would probably want to change something. Being a transsexual is more of a case of being a girl who looks like a guy, and often has to act like one to fit in. Transition involves changing your appearance to be what it supposed to be. This probably isn't an amazing answer but I'm sure you get where I'm coning from.

I'm transitioning on hops (natural herb) now for a month on it. Breast already developing, Buttocks more fatty, thighs widen, waist shrunk 1,5 inch, face get more fatty, and I'm on it for 1 month. Most of the changes happen in the first few months. Then it slows down to the point that you will not be able to see them unless you have pictures of yourself for comparison. So it's important to take pictures along the way. I've been on HRT for 1.5 years myself.
