tripho123! I can't tell you how pleased I am to hear this! When I first got into pianolas/reproducing pianos I had this very roll, but only a 88 note cafe piano to play it on - where I couldn't even apply my own dynamics. I liked the piece so much, I got my brother to find the music for me in the Cambridge library and I learnt it by hand! I even lent the roll to musicwerkstatt Monschau to scan - to ensure its survival. I'm simply delighted to hear it on a triphonola! It sounds great. 5*
This is fantastic news. Is there anyway you could play this and put it on YouTube or send me an audio file. You are possibly the only person who has this roll and it would be so helpful to here what Reinecke does with Mozart.
Very nice! My 88-note version of this roll, perforated in 1911, is marked "Tempo 50-60". Is this copy actually marked "90-100"? Quite a difference! The perforations look to be identical to my copy other than the Triphonola part, of course.
This is nice - sounds rather like Elgar in places.

Looked closely at the video, and I see it really is marked 90-100. Interesting.
