There are more sensitive scales out there, but when you can meassure 1 flake of gold (at a time), there is'nt much room for missed weight.

Ironically, I can lightly breath on the .01 gram scale and see the digits change. Its that sensitive.

Great demo, man you could really come out on the short end of the stick with a bad scale. When cashing in my gold or silver, I usually take a known weighted object and check THEIR scales as well!
