THANK YOU !!! I'm a nurse (not working due to disability) and over the past 18 years have dealt with this. What I get from my docs is "I have other fibromyalgia patients and lyrica, or whatever miracle drug (that doesn't work on me) has practically turned their lives around ! BS ! Thanks again !

That's what I'm trying to do: change attitudes about fibro, so that everyone who has it is given the same rights, respect, compassion and level of treatment that EVERYONE deserves. @wenchsammas Thanks for the feedback. I'll likely never meet your doctors. But I should let you know that one woman bought 2 copies of my book: one for herself, and one for her disbelieving doctor, who had actually discharged her from his practice. Believe it or not, that doctor read my book, and one week letter sent the woman a LETTER OF APOLOGY.He also asked her back into his practice and promised to be more supportive. True story, I swear!

My mom had pmr, a form of vasculitis. I have several documented itises, auto-immune, 2 different arthritic conditions along with 3 disc herniations and fibromyalgia. I would much rather hear "You look terrible!" while feeling good. Thanks for the smiles!
