Uh ummm, I think all of this boils down to common sense and reason. In manufacturing and lean initiative the best results will ultimately come from workers who are willing to participate. Waste reduction can b backtracked and does not happen overnight but thru perserverence. The sad thing is humans don t like change so it has to be sugarcoated. Only the best of managers know how to do this effectively, sometimes swallowing pride for a better outcome of profitability. That is the bottom line.
