  • Years ago, I bought the two Tribe CDs on a whim.

    A good whim, methinks.

  • The best Boston band ever!

  • I miss Tribe.... Love the Boston music scene..It was so alive at one time...Now I hardly hear a thing about it...

  • Mmmmmm....

  • WOW! Thanks for posting one of my favorite 80's songs. had this on my old hard drive, but haven't heard it on the longest time!

  • Awesome Awesome Band Timeless sound

  • I have the Abort and Sleeper CD's at home. I'd guess it's ok to share something that can't be bought... no?

  • The lead singer has a powerful voice. Great band, if not for Rock Band I wouldn't have heard of them

  • Remember buying this single on 7" when it came out...still sounds good to this day. Also, loved the album"Abort"...had it on cassette. Excellent stuff!!!

  • JL, I STILL love you to bits!

  • loved this band, another one who should have gotten national attention from the great 80's music scene

  • Knock me over! I haven't thought of this song for ages! Thank-you!!

  • Tribe is one of the best vocal performance bands I have ever heard! Under appreciated but, if you could rank bands by talent vs exposure they would be #1 on the register!

  • First time I've seen the video. I'd forgotten what a good song this was. I listened to the album constantly when I first bought in the early 90's.

  • Saw Them With the odds at Toads Place in New Haven CT Awsome!!

  • Hey Steve, "Easter Dinner" and "Daddy's Home" aren't on YouTube in their album versions... you would be a hero if you put them on here. :- )

  • So a great band, I love their songs

  • We Tribe fans are our own tribe.

  • Thank you so much for posting this, I LOVE this band, can sing everysong from the cd, which i bot twice. always worth it.

  • Fantastic track, havent heard it for years as only had this on cassette, thanks for posting vid :)

  • steve, great taste, brings me back

  • Thanks for posting this vid. I first heard of Tribe when I lived near Albany NY around '92. WEQX played Joyride pretty heavily in their rotation. The first time I heard the song, I was like... "This really sounds like Siouxsie and the Banshees without the brit accent.

  • I was amazed to see this..Steve, thanks so much for posting this. I saw Tribe live so many times back in the day & I was there for their final show. I would love to see them come back & Janet's solo disc finally get released.

  • thank you, steve -

terrific of you to provide this music - this one's my favourite for tribe

  • I would kill for info on a legal download of this, or any of the stuff on Abort or Sleeper. Wake up, iTunes!!

    Many thanks for the vid.

  • You can download this video and quite a few other Tribe videos on my website. You can find a link to my website if you look up, and a little to the right. I am thinking about making mp3's of Abort & Sleeper available for free on my website as well.

  • I'd pay for Mp3 Dl's :-)

  • You and me both... you and me both.

  • Thanks Steve!

Great video from the BEST band to come out of Boston. Their music from 20 years ago is still fresh, even by today's standards. Too bad their career was so short-lived.
