This is the only type of rap I really can get into. They actually have a MESSAGE instead of 'look cool, screw a bunch of ladies, kill enemy gangs/cops, wear gold chains, and drive bentleys'. This stuff is inspiring. It's one thing to have standard songs like country or rock but to have hip hop getting all politically involved, it's refreshing.

I agree . When rap started it was mostly about promoting violence ,sex ,and drugs. It is great that it is being used as a communication tool for good purposes.
