I´m sorry I´m repeating myself. I just can´t get over this band being so great. Every song is the song I´ve wanted to hear for the last 20 years or so. Thanks again, and there´s still no one like Joe Lynn Turner.
I had no idea of this project untill tonight. I´m glad I got drunk and searched for Joe Lynn Turners music. Love everybody involved in this group. Sounds so great! Thank you!
@TOTTW: What's missing is true analog synths. IMO that's a HUGE part of the true 80's sound. Still, this is an awesome song, got the whole album after I heard this song. Hopefully I can pick something useful to my own songwriting, as I play in an AOR band ;)
25 years ago this would really have been a killer, now it appears way too bombastic, like they're trying to impress with a massive wall of sound. Can you imagine Rainbow sounding like this in '83? Subtlety seems a thing of the past, what's left when it's all thrown in here already, producers now also seem to imitate each other (a certain current sound) rather than having their own distinct. And then there's the whole songwriting debate, with rock taking a nose dive in the late 80s/early 90s...
Hello IraklisTheRocker. Thank you very much for this sharing.
Hello komodoman, i totally agree with you. From me, +1 to you. I cant write like you. But, thank you very much because, when i read you message, i saw that you wrote something like "what i think".
God, i just want to find all of known and unknown albums from 80s.
Their "Soul" are different... New Rock bands are trying to be like 80s but... There is some mistake :)..
@80sRockerAltaR Thanks! It's frustrating how this sort of music was looked down on in the 70s/80s, labeled as 'corporate rock', when that's exactly the best description for today's commercial (IMO inferior) pop/rock music looked up to! Ridiculous! And solid proof it was a wrong highbrow opinion back then.
Modern day AOR sound, unfortunately, like most rock music productions today, is too 'big/roomy'. Nothing's separated, all instruments in one big mess. Sad, it wasn't like that originally.
I really love the 80's sound of the music, but as close it sounds to the music of that era, somethings missing. I can't explain it. Great band though. Really nice.
Great, the whole album is fantastic !

Well I wouldn't say exactly that. I'm missing in today's AOR big musicians, unpredictable sound and great productions.
