After we had one hit my neighborhood, I take watches and warnings pretty seriously. Tornado watches don`t happen too often and I personally have only ever heard one warning in my life but they`re pretty ominous

It's only a severe thunderstorm I think. Severe thunderstorm warnings are also a tornado watch and I don't think the sirens go off for a watch, just for a warning.
