  • anything for the money. The damn will go ahead, because no one ever gave a shit about the people

  • Excellent presentation. One correction:

The maximum normal operating range for the Site C reservoir would be between 460.0 metres and 461.8 metres, with average reservoir fluctuations expected to be less than 1.8 metres throughout most of the year. In exceptional circumstances, the proposed reservoir could rise above the maximum normal reservoir level for short periods of time and could be drawn down to lower levels for unusual system requirements or system emergencies.

  • i go to treaty 8 days each year, im against the dam.

  • This eliminates an ecosystem.

  • haha, I'm in this 3D geovis class right now and was thinking of doing something like this. Didn't think someone would have done such a comprehensive visualization already.

  • The kmz files to see both the proposed Site C reservoir and the impacted land up to BC Hydro's safeline on Google Earth can be downloaded from peacevalley.ca/sitec/about

  • just add those magical 3 w's at the start of that url. It kept giving me an error message when I included the whole thing.

  • This is the best representative view of the possible flooded areas I've seen yet, thank you! Any chance of a kml file available for viewing the tour in Google Earth?
