and one thing that I didin't under stand in the russo-japanese war the japanese destroyed and humiliated the russian navy why didn't they just literally assert themselves as the giant war machine they where.

One thing that got me it was japan's reaction that sparked the end of the axis because it got America involved in the war. Without america Soviet russia would be owned by part of japan and germany.

Italy was pussies all they could really do is sit and watch germany take over europe.

the italians were the pussys ones...didnt fight shit...they went to africa and got beat up by black people....in the war the italians were prisoners and the germans have to go and rescue them...and again they were prisoners and again the germans have to go and rescue them....but it was useless...Hitler wanted Spain to join them, probably then the nazis could have won the war...but the Spaniards said not thanks, we have a civil war right here...we will help againts the communist russians thats it

It was a fact they had awful equipment as well, and had a lack of strategic knowledge by the looks of it. They massacred the Abyssinians, but to the cost of vital military resources. They also lost the Mediterranean to Britain at Taranto and in general engagement. Just all-in-all the country tried to go too far too quickly.

They were an awful force for terror across the Pacific and Asia, but DAMN the Japanese were impressive.

Thats right. In many ways the Japanese were simliar to the Germans: war organization, competent in military tactics and high standarts in infantry training!
