I think Windows XP is way better than 7. For me, it's a whole lot simpler to use, with all you appropriate shortcuts and files right there for you. It also runs games a little better because there's not as many background programs running. It also has a kick ass boot theme.

@NanosoftRussia Some really old legacy software for businesses only run on windows xp, so to satisfy everyone Microsoft just game them basically another computer if they bought pro or ultimate.

@NanosoftRussia You can't run just any XP application. One great example is Worms World Party, which isn't compatible with Windows 7 (at least not 64-bit)

@NanosoftRussia Because Windows 98 is outdated. To run "Windows 98 Mode" you need a copy of Windows 98 (probably image-file) and just run it with Virtual PC. Try googling "Windows 98 with Virtual PC"

@NanosoftRussia Then pop it in the cd drive click "caotrue physical disk drive" then restart the virtual pc and it should start up and start installing, now you need a key for the cd before you can complete the installation.

Easy, the video showed that you need Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise or Ultimate.

I tried windows xp mode. If the xp mode gets infected by a virus, the host computer doesn't get infected at all, which is good.

the video did say you can connect your hardware onto xp mode :)
