being 'mixed race' does not equate to having greater genetic variety - simple and bloody obvious! the more subsahran genes one has (not necessarily the darker you are as bantu and other ancient tribes of southern africa are not as dark as those nearer the equator) then the more variety one is likely to have, simple! not necessarily mind you but certainly more likely! when will people stop focussing on skin colour - you look like fools,complete idiots just get over it damnit! i'm blond/green eyes

it's a taboo subject but i guess the truth is sub-sahran africa still has an overwhelmingly greater genetic diversity than the rest of the world, due to the rest of the world initially being populated by a fraction of this african diversity rather than the whole, the amount of time which has past since may be long to us yet it is a blink in the eye in evolutionary terms and is nowhere near the amount of time that man survived and evolved/mutated alone in africa, so sub-saharans have best genes!

i'm sorry people but you can't have it both ways. if as genetics has stated there is no such thing as separate races of humans, it proposes the idea of race to be mere human conception(i agree)-since they say there is greater genetic diversity within the so called 'races' than between them, ie two white people are not necessarily closer genetically just cos they are both white then you cannot state that a person born of people with different skin pigmentation has overall advantage/disadvantage?!

People generally think I'm just black, which I am, but not completely because I'm also Chinese, Scottish, east&west Indian.
