this song was for silent hill the room, it discusses th erelationship with a mother and child, it seems that it would be more fitting for Heather (aka Alessa) and Dahlia. it wouldn't fit for James or Alex, pretty much only silent hill 3, so how does this song really pertain to The Room, the only thing i can surmise is Walter and the room being his "mother", can anyone help me out with this?

@jemartin520 Walter thought that the apartment Alex was in was his mother. He was born and then abandoned in the apartment and then grew up at the orphanage, which was teaching the children about the occult. (It seems you already knew this but I thought I'd go into detail.) It was the entire driving plot of the game, being the reason's behind the murders Walter committed, so that's the reason it's the SH4 song, yup :)

I relate this song for my ex-stepmother. My own grandmother, my father's mother, once called her a "monster" and "mentally unstable". I love my mother, and she loves me, but this song still makes me teary eye'd, and I can say that as a man that I am almost brought to tears by this song.

There is supposed to be a natural connection for a child to their mother. When that connection is lacking or destroyed, there is just something sad and lacking in the child, and often times, the mother.
