  • I got chills :)

  • 5:45 smart kid. sister disappears in a matter of seconds and only her book remains. i'd have gotten the hell out of there too.

  • Would a room underground with thick concrete walls and no window have any sound?

  • 8:50 agh..can't stand people with absolutely no self-awareness

  • I remember when I first saw this I wanted that bouncy ball :)

  • In the background, you can hear "children I hope you spend many hours in the children's section" "and these were some librarians going all the way back to 1837"

  • when the door handle was shaking wtf did she look up first

  • This was one of the more memorable episodes to me. I saw this for the first time when I was probably about 5 or so, and I am now 21. I still remember it like it was yesterday.

  • We watch this in school in drama all the time!

  • I don't even remember them checking those books out....

  • Did nobody notice that people were missing at the library and that when they put that shelf at the door with the boxes there was a strange pink light coming out of it?

  • What's the point of him being there with her if she won't let him do anything? lol

  • well a few kids capturd by a crazed librarian is kidnapping..those kids broke into a school thats a felony...plus the librarian was murdered so since they broke into the school and killed the lady that is Agravated murder

  • "submitted for the approval of the midnight society." = nostalgia

  • you know how they always say, ".....submitted for the approval of the midnight society ...." , I would love to hear at the end of a story , "....ya I don't approve"

  • Aww I felt so bad for the little girl.

  • @kingofdufferin What's Kratt's Creatuers?

  • this is by far my most favorite episode.

  • Cool, it's Alison from Kratt's Creatures :).

  • when was the last time someone went into a library?

  • What the hell is that on that boy head!!!??

  • that guy is totaly a sissy being bossed by a girl

  • man that black kid should cut that stuff off the top of his head!!..its annoying..

  • Good so far

  • yo i work at a library and the first thing they told us is to NEVER OPEN DOORS WITH PINK LIGHT BEHIND THEM.

  • The most frightening ayaotd episode in my opinion.

  • LMAO! I was sooo in love with "The Face" when I was a child and I totally had one of those sound machines too! WOW MEMORIES!!!

  • LOVE IT when the fire goes purple xD

  • This episode always scared my shitless as a little dude, and now 22 years old I still find this particular episode frightning!

  • my fav episode is midnight madness

  • my fav episode!... i found it!..yay!

  • I like how two kids go missing in the library but it's just business as usual the next day.

  • @damdarch Appearently they don't care about 10 or 11 year old customers that much!

  • has anyone else noticed that there are never any asians on this show? maybe like one episode.

  • @charmed8989 Yeah, the tale of the Dream Machine and the Tale of the Misfortune Cookie are just two examples!

  • She's chilly, huh? I'm willing to bet you'd still like to put your popsicle in her freezer, though.

  • LOL. Transcribe audio and go to 9:20.

  • The librarian looks as if she belongs in the "American Gothic" painting

  • lol francine frensky?

  • @vittievorza yep that's her! lol

  • @vittievorza OMG IT IS HER lol

  • @vittievorza from Aurthur? where???

  • ah yes, those sci-fi noise makers were an awesome classic!

I must say, being muted couldn't have *sounded* scarier.

  • I would of just chilled and let her do all the work .

  • When i watch something at night gives me nightmares though LOL! and when it's day i feel ok sometimes

  • that the only they cud get black stories was to hav it lik all kiki stories revovled around black people..

  • Is this the episode with the librarian's ability to "sense" heartbeats, 'cause this might be it.

  • For some reason I'm thinking of the ghostbusters

  • @TehJedicake it's just a sound maker :P. I had one when i was younger. It just makes "cool" sounds\

    90's ftw >:D

  • anyone else notice that all keke's stories star an african american??#veryawesome

  • In a library is a Lenin's head :D :D

  • lmao at brainiac over there talkin like he's a physicist. Go to space bitch

    No sound

  • This is the episode that inspired Buffy's "Hush"!

  • @TehJedicake I know right, it was huge! Like the first cell phone which looked like a cordless phone! LMAO! Thank goodness for technology!

  • This is why you leave your toys @ home! LOL!

  • ok how did the ball turn that corner over the metal case behind the boxes lol

  • Thank God for the internet. We don't have to worry about this shit.

  • That moment of silence feels absolutely creepy and perfect

  • This is like Dead Silence, but the people in this one get to keep their tongues :) Whatever you do...dont scream :D

  • i love that girl's hair!!!

  • this reminds me of the opening scene of Ghostbusters

  • isn't that the girl from 15/Love?:O

  • This episode made me afraid of using a bouncy ball

  • I think its ironic how they won't play shows like this for children, but they'll play blatantly adult content on Children stations because "its not meant for children" but it's not like they can't access it.

  • "Live dangerously" the boy's sad and final words

  • Kiki was my neighbor growing up!!!

  • one of the good episodes

  • This Is like the creepiest episode ever, And my fiance's gram looks exactly like mercy mae gregor the quiet librarian

  • I miss those noise boxes that make the gun noises. I remember having one of those guns when I was little and pissing everyone off with the gun noises.

  • notice when ever a black person tells a story theres usually a blk lead or we see the most blk ppl

  • LOL 6:02 pxjumm!!

  • ooo wee that hair

  • "Here are some of our Librarians, going all the way back to 1857..." Offstage foreshadowing...

  • Thank you for posting. This one scared me when I was little.

  • "Tale of the Midnight Madness" please! I can't believe that I used to watch this and now have a five year old who loves this shit!

  • This reminds me of Stephen King's novella, The Library Policeman. It was creepy and graphic but well written. The villainess in the novella reminded me of the Other Mother Spider Witch monster in Neil Gaiman's novel, Coraline.

  • this crap wuldnt happen to these kids if they just minded their own buisness or culd just let sumthing go

  • @chaebug That one kid just wanted his ball and seemed like he was going to obey the rules and quietly get it from the "Quiet Reading Room".

  • For some reason, this episode always reminded me of the Pagemaster.

  • @AriniaLendin More like a Tim Burton version of the Pagemaster, if you ask me. (Even if you didn't really ask me.)

  • Heh, this kind of reminds me of when Calvin and Susie Derkins had to do a report together about the planet Mercury. Calvin slacked off and Susie did the bulk of the work.

  • can u post The Tale of Cutter's Treasure?
