  • Chamberlin is such a badass

  • Where can I buy his jacket and boots? I love them!!!!

  • @Cokecanninja For the boots you can get them at the Army Navy store.

S.A.S Omega Airborne Boots. the coat is way more expensive, but I know another good Goth coat you can get; a Russian Navy coat, it's black and looks a lot like the coat from the old German Army of WW2.

  • @nicholsjoshua15 Thanks.

  • Does anyone know where I can buy his jacket!? I love it!!

  • he so looks like my roll on deodorant : /

  • He so looks like my roll on deodorant : /

  • Billy looks extra bald in this video. Love it!

  • guys..this is just a great song..that's it!

  • In this video he is Nosferatu, you know I'm not dead

  • OK, so you know how Hayden Christiansen was a terrible Anakin Skywalker? Billy Corgan, dressed exactly like his in this video, would've been perfect. Dark, large and intense, but without Darth Vader's pure evil.

  • @KindOFATalkShow Christiansen sucked in Episode 2, but in Episode 3 he wasn't that bad.

  • THIS ROCKS!

  • The editing was awesome for this video.

  • love this shiiiiiiiiit

  • Fuck Neworleans.

  • Billy Corgan, should clean house once and for all, go to a good Goth club near a good music school, hold audition for a new group of Smashing Pumpkins, and start fresh. This time don’t be friends, keep it an employer employee relationship. Cut and paste this to as many Smashing Pumpkins videos as possible, this is not a chain letter this is a petition, so keep petitioning until the are new Smashing Pumpkins

  • weird dude but good music lol

  • Who Cares Hes Bald , He Went Bald Naturally

  • @ryneldo Yes and in this video he Nosferatus you know I'm not dead

  • sbrushfan needs to go listen to Justin Bieber and shake his ass to the stupid shit. Making fun of Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, and Soundgarden just shows how stupid you are. You are right though it is just a opinion but it is so stupid you do not even deserve one. To all the people arguing about what Billy looks like who cares he is not a model but a musician and a amazing one at that.

  • that guys too bald

  • what is it with guys wondering 'why he shave his head for no hair'?

well, people, its cos he's bald

  • Not to sound rude towards the band or anything because I love the music, but Billy Corgan is a freak. But maybe that's just part of the performance.....

  • @snowHQ What musician ISN'T a freak? All good musicians are strange.

  • @snowHQ if he wasn't a 'freak' he probably wouldn't have come up with such good music and lyrics...so it's probably a good thing!

  • Great as always!!!! l come and check out our channel! we are new to youtube and would love your support!!!!

  • why did he shaved his head?

  • @vampirebuahh uh he's had a shaved head for a long time.

  • 'fickle fascination'... just the expression I was looking for!

  • favorite band forever and ever.

  • @SophieHawthorne i think hes wierd but thats a good thing :D

  • r0x

  • Billy corgan looks especially bald today.

  • @hookedonphonics2004 HAHAHA thats wat i was thinkin!!!!

  • @TurboInfidel, Agreed.

  • hes so cool he have a cool voice

  • i can smell the pertulla oil from here!!!

  • Well, I dont know about anybody else, but I listen to music for the MUSIC, not to talk shit about people, If I wanted to do that, I could go watch twilight.

  • im surprised no one on here has made a comment on how weird billy corgan looks.

  • @thamuddler Oh! Oh! Me! Me! He looks like the creatures from that all-girl horror movie "The Descent". Pumpkins are still awesome - did Jimmy Chamberlain die or something? He was the only drummer that could give me a boner from his fills; Hello Kitty, Rhinoceros, Geek U.S.A, etc.

  • @exbassibor No Jimmy didn't die, he and the Pumpkins touring keyboard player were taking heroin in a New York hotel room. They both od'd, the keyboard player died and Jimmy survived. As a result Jimmy was kicked out of the band. Apparently he has been 'rehabilitated' back into the band in recent years though. Have to agree with you about his drumming.

  • @RainingBullets111

well, its not really a shocker to me,to me he is just billy corgan, thats him.he looks completely normal to me because that is who he is.But i mean for someone who dont really know who he is,i think its a fair statement for someone to say"i like this band but the lead singer looks a little weird"these idiots think that it is ME who thinks he looks weird, just one demonstration of how ignorant people are,all they have to do is READ,but they cant control their emotions *shrugs*

  • @TheF0etus lol, well thank you... FETUS, ill pretend i care

  • to all of you argueing that billy corgan is weird/beutiful, your argueing over nothing, in fact there should be no arguement you should be agreeing with eachother. he is diffrent which is a synonymfor weird. but if he was normal, how could he be beutiful??? he'd be just like the rest of us. i think billy corgan is beutiful and he is an amazing musician and my personal favorite, but he is one hell of a weirdo(: and everyone should agree that he is both.

  • The Pumpkins are great ! Billy looks like he should be in the movie " DUNE " .

  • Melissa Auf der Maur = Hottest woman ever!

  • @TurboInfidel

lol you people... i never said anythig bad about him, im just saying, can you honestly blame someone or get mad at them for saying "i like the pumpkins but the lead singer looks weird"

im sorry but its a fair statement

  • this song is just awesome...that's all there is to say.

  • I know this song is a decade old. When i said i dont like the new shit i ment the new stuff that they have out. And when i said this just isnt the pumpkins i ment that this song just isnt like them.

  • @ericmeloman85 Yeah, it is, The Pumpkins' albums all use different genres as the music type. It's what makes a great artist like Billy a great artist.

  • Creepy. Im not trying to be an asshole or anything. I mean i love the pumpkins. But the new shit just..well... sucks. This just isnt the pumpkins!!

  • @ericmeloman85 New shit? This song is over a decade old... I personally think all their albums are amazing...

  • @TurboInfidel Hell yeah Billy is

  • Billy has an eargasmic voice

  • Love the Pumpkins, but Billy's head freaks me out at that angle lol

  • lo maximo!!!

  • heh heh boob fallin out of shirt....... 1:10

  • @LOLZALOT696 nice find lmao

  • Billy looks like a bond villian here, missing only his armchair and cat. The smashing pumpkins are cool.

  • i like the pumpkins but this video makes the lead singer look weird as shit

  • @tzDub92 Does Billy make you feel insecure? Do you find it difficult to cope with thinks that are not banal and soooo normal? How terribly sad for you. Maybe if you opened up your mind it might improve your vocabulary.

  • @SophieHawthorne

stop being an asshole, billy corgan looks weird, that's billy corgan, he has... changed his looks over the years, but its pretty obvious someone who doesnt know who billy is to think he looks weird, so stop being an asshole, they said they liked the music but the guy looks weird, thats a FAIR statement when the lead singer looks like jack skellington, you're just being a bitch

  • @chickenbiscito He might look weird to you chicken biscuit and I really don't need some foul mouthed 14 year old spitting it's dummy out. I suppose you have been elected as Earth's arbiter of what's weird and what's not. If you think he's odd maybe you should get out a bit more. I think he's so beautiful and talented Calling someone weird because he doesn't conform to your norms is NOT a fair statement

  • @SophieHawthorne well, i can clearly see your obsessive love for him, and im not 14, im 25, and its chickenbiscit, thats how i spelled it, all one word just in case you missed that, also i only pointed out that saying a bald man in a trenchcoat that looks like something from a tim burton movie looks weird even though they like the pumpkins and you start getting hormonal and touchy and start being a bitch to whoever says anything that YOU dont like, so pull your head out of your own sour cunt

  • looks like the bass players boob is about to fall out of her shirt

    :o

  • FUK YES

  • You know I'm not dead!

  • Never was a big fan of Smashing Pumpkins, DESPISED Nirvana, Soundgarden was just "meh", and hearing this "song" merely lends credence to my idea that "alt-rock", as a whole, sucked raw ass. Where's the song structure? Where's the great, catchy riffs? Where's the good vocals? And, perhaps most grating of all; WHERE ARE THE MELODIES?????

  • @sbrushfan Are you deaf?? Have you listened to 'Mayonaise' for the melodies? Have you listened to 'Disarm' for the vocals? It's right in front of you! Go pick on justin bieber if you want to criticise talentless music.

  • @Garbagehead4 Dude/tte...it was simply MY opinion. And yes; I HAVE heard "Disarm"; it was better than some, but not by much.

Again; these are simply opinions, and opinions, like feelings, have no basis in fact or reality. So stop losing your shit over something which has no basis in fact.

  • @sbrushfan why do feelings have no basis in reality?

  • @sbrushfan Why did you even post a comment on this video then? Everyone else who's listening to this are Pumpkins fans and nobody wants to hear your dumbass opinions.

  • @mercurymadhatter First off, I don't give a tinker's DAMN who is and who is not a fan. Secondly this is YouTube; a place where opinions are welcome; as least I thought it was. Thirdly, you and every other sheep out there are having a knee-jerk reaction to something said by someone who refuses to follow the herd. I don't let myself be forcefed bullshit of any kind, and quite frankly, neither should you.

  • @sbrushfan Not all music is based on that structure... I was never a big melody fan myself. I'm into those repeating industrial and gothic tunes. I think you should check out the song Hummer by Smashing Pumpkins then. It's very melodic, and the sequence in the song changes all the time.

  • @Gamagachee Hummer is a great song to crank up in the car dude

  • @sbrushfan *cough* Alice in Chains *cough*

  • @sbrushfan I love the riff in this song? What do you want? Dudes wearing make-up and prissing up their hair?

  • @sbrushfan My friend, you are a dumbass. Cherub Rock, Soma, Mayonaise, Blank Page, Tristessa. Songs CAN be different and awesome, it's the whole point of ALTERNATIVE rock, to be different than other kinds of rock, in one of your later posts you say your not following the herd, when you are for hating on alt. rock because it's not Metal or Hip Hop or R'N'B or Rap or Pop or whatever it is you listen to. You've got to think about lyrics aswell Billy's lyrics are awesome. You are a dumbass bitch.

  • I know I wouldn't be able to concentrate on playing with Melissa Auf der Maur rocking out like that next to me in an outfit like that....

  • Até parece o Lex Lutor

  • Why did the others leave SP?

  • @faucet66 because billy is a dick mostly, but he actually fired the drumer and replaced him with some 17 year old kid.

  • I know you are not dead!! may The Smashing Pumpkins live forever!

  • LOve this track. the drums are immense

  • Comment removed

  • @seanathin382 well thank you for the enthusasim

  • good song, great band.

  • aguante a los smashing

    aguascalientes mexico

  • rokin

  • they split up :(

  • These guys actually used to be good believe it or not.

  • He has one of the most annoying, yet recognizable voices in rock and yet I find the man extremely attractive

  • F5 skips ads.

  • @BertTrump omg thanks for that xD

  • @BertTrump your a savior

  • Melissa Auf Der Maur is Smoking Hot!

  • Genial

  • I LOVE HIS SHAPES! I LOVE THIS SONG! I LOVE EVERYTHING THESE PEOPLE CREATE AND LOVE! I LOVE THEIR PASSION! I LOVE THEIR GRACE! I LOVE THEIR LOVE! xSPx

  • I am in love with Billy's lips and teeth in this video. A little odd I suppose, but yeah, it's the truth haha. Love the Pumpkins~

  • @OfferingEngine HURR DURR I BASE MY SONGS ON HOW THE SINGER LOOKS. get a grip, just because the singer doesn't look nice(which he does) you don't like the song?take a look at justin beiber... he *cough* she *cough* hasn't even grown a pair of balls *cough* breasts *cough* yet and every whiny yuppie alive loves the music...

  • Melissa Auf der maur destruindo tudo no baixo...eu amo essa mulher!

  • @shakinyostar i second that there are a lot of key spots that kick it, i guess that's just the friggin Smashing Pumpkins for ya... sweet! i'll check out some other "noted" scenes too!

  • i hate ads... while jamin' to the pumpkins i really think about how hungry i am or who can save me "a billion dollars" geeze that really gets me in the mood for smashin' ads!

  • daaaamn she´s hot (melissa auf der maur)

  • my first "pumpkins"

    cool cool cool!

  • y would i like pierod blood ironcrue3

  • WTF is he doing between 2:50 and 3:00 ?

Did he really think that was a good idea?

  • @xxmickeyzeroxx dude!!!! check that part LIVE!!!! that part made the song a hell of a monster!!!

  • @xxmickeyzeroxx I second that. The only bad part of the song. The rest is awesome.

  • Billy is a legend in his own mind. He really has no reason to think he is some great rock star. He is not very good on the guitar and his vocals are absolutely sinus terrible! James played all the tough riffs. D'arcy played a mean bass and Jimmy was the driving force of the Smashing Pumpkins. I think he has over achieved thanks to a little help from his friends. I have never once heard any accomplished musician say a good word about Billy Corgan.

  • Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness

Billy Corgan lead vocals, guitar, piano, production, mixing, string arrangement on "Tonight, Tonight", art direction and design

Adore * Billy Corgan vocals, guitar, piano, keyboards production, mixing, art direction and design

    Etc., etc.

  • Comment removed

  • @xxmickeyzeroxx i think yr a legendary rock critic in yr own mind but that assumption doesn't pay anyones bills now does it?

  • Billy Corgan is one of the most influential artist of the last years......

Almost all the bands alternative and emocore from today are influenced by him, well i think so

  • he looks like jerad way with no hair

  • i like to smoke marihuana

  • @moitaparaty

i like to spell marijuana correctly.

  • nice

  • Was this on The Matrix soundtrack or something?

  • The song's great, not their best but great. The video could be so good. And it ain't. Ah well, great song.

  • Pritty sick stuff compaird to their earlyer works, and i dont mean good.

  • i wonder if billy can actually play in those gloves

  • @ytrewqasfd billy doesnt actually have to "touch" the guitar. he just points his crotch in the guitar's general direction and it starts to sound awesome!!!

  • @draininglizard Yeah, I too like how his guitar sound has become an unintelligible mess. Sorry but his guitar sounds like shit. He hasn't had a good sound since MCIS. Bring back the Siamese Dream sound and I'll buy another record.

  • This reminds me of one of the videos by A Perfect Circle

  • This kind of stuff used to be on TV..... what happened?

  • @citizenoftheall

we hit the worst decade ever. enjoy the radio! it sucks haha

  • @citizenoftheall the government got involved with the music

  • @citizenoftheall 15 years from now the people who grew up on Lil Wayne will ask why he is not on TV anymore. 15 years ago people wondered what happened to Dokken. We are like every other generation. The differences are details. Fortunately, we are in an era with good recording technology and internet, so we still have access to music.

Smashing Pumpkins fans, check out Zeromancer, a European industrial rock band.

  • @kolpinj Its like nowadays you have to pay for a special music channel that plays videos. All there is on music channels is the OC or some other horribly disgusting teen drama. I am thankful for the internet

  • @citizenoftheall I don't even watch music TV or listen to radio anymore. I realize that my taste is unique and there is no channel for me. I like a variety of music and listen to songs in an order that each song sounds very different from the one before it. I come here and make a playlist. My playlist now has rock, country, several kinds of metal, gospel, polka, techno, Celtic folk, pop, rap, motown, Japanese jazz, disco, Dean Martin, Macy Gray. And this of course. Find that on a TV channel!

  • That's the way to do it. What Japanese jazz? I'm just getting into it myself and could use some recommendations.

  • @touchandgod

Mayumi Kojima. I found out about her because she sang the opening song on the Ghost Hound anime.

I just started listening last year. I typically don't like jazz, but some of it is okay. A lot of the songs I like I found recently because I look for more music. But I haven't stopped liking music I "should have grown out of" like NSYNC, Winnie the Pooh, Bananas in Pajamas. I expand. So much music, so little time.

  • I myself am a jazz lover, so thanks for the recommendation.

  • love it!

  • On the ways of your desire.... you always find a way... amazing song! Go Pumpkins!

  • a lot of people criticize billy for using the smashing pumpkins name with the new line-up, but a lot less people would respond to the name 'billy corgan' than to 'the smashing pumpkins' based simply upon the fact that joe shit music listener might not know who 'billy corgan' is. i support him for doing it because sometimes you gotta do whatever it takes to support your art and to get it to as many people as possible!!

  • @infinitesadnessbaby i doubt it tho,i mean,i dont know about you,but every time ive met a Smashing Pumpkins fan,(and by the way, they are always big fans, never just fans haha) they have always known who Billy Corgan is,regardless of the Pumpkins or not

so even if they changed the name it would work,i mean, most people dont know about Zwan, but everyone who's ever heard of the Smashing Pumpkins knows its Billy Corgan, and im pretty sure its because of his voice, talent, and uniqueness in general

  • The first 10 seconds of this song auditorialy represents how daring and agressive they chased music and its ever changing ways.

  • iha has a telecaster, the best guitar ever...

  • @BUZZUBUZZU i agree and james is the man!

  • @yak52aholic Yes he is!

  • Anyone who doesn't realize what the Pumpkins were actually doing at this period of time surely missed an intriguing cerebral work of art that goes unmatched to this very day. Billy's music was magical.

  • 90'S!!! LOVE IT.. I DID

  • What a Fuckin great song! One of the best they ever did.

  • Goth Uncle Fester...love it.

  • he has such a big head lol

  • Mr Corgan a metà tra Dark e Kiss

  • The bassist's shirt is falling apart .

  • chamberlain that is.

  • epic ending! =D

  • yeh,very grunge

  • the last true SP album

  • jimmy chamerlain = best rock drummer of the 90s.

  • you are soooooo damn right!!!

  • This song still has a crisp ass bass line. It's still prtty srs bsns. Would be better if Billy used his Lace Sensor Strat though.

  • it would be better if you used proper english..........

  • lol. Strats don't really like low tunings, especially drop C. It's achieve able through setup, but it's a pain. I'd take the Reverend guitar he used to record this song over the Strat for that purpose. Designed for correct oscillation and operation at a lower tuning.

  • No shit??

  • 24 head waves across the screen way to go corgan

  • I don't care if this may sound awful or not: I loved the Pumpkins, I do love them and I will always do. Times change, people change, and in this case one can't sound the same all the time. Billy grew up, and with him also his style and thoughts and influences. If I were him, I would have just changed the band name, since all the former members left, but oh well.. GO BILLY! You're one of the best musicians ever.

  • @JanetEyre9 I agree, I'll follow their sound where ever it may lead.

  • @NirvashEureka1 exactly Nirvash, that's what I think as well.. the point is that everything they play sounds too good to me. And they mean TOO MUCH to me.

  • @JanetEyre9 sorry I didnt check this in several months but I remember asking wtf people listened to the Rolling Stones new crap years ago... I think I know why, either they smoked too much pot and burned out some important brain cells or they just have that connection with youth, past memories and music. Its great but this is that band for me.

  • Comment removed

  • @JanetEyre9 i couldn't have said it better myself

  • @cgnetwork1 thank you very much. it's great to know that there are people who STILL and ALWAYS appreciate the Pumpkins. They mean too much to me.

  • @JanetEyre9 totally agree w/ u. cheeers

  • @JanetEyre9 i agree with you 100%

people should learn to notice that the smashing pumpkins have explored every rock sound possible thanks to billy corgan genius.

its fair enough they have favorite albums... but they shouldnt criticise the other albums works they did :)

  • @jimmyguitarman exactly jimmy, i totally agree. see, i've grown up with their music, it means so much to me. billy once said that he couldn't always play for teenagers.. i think he was right, you know.. changing is a part of life.

    thanks for your words! :))

  • @JanetEyre9

    i agree

i couldnt have said it better myself.

  • @JanetEyre9 ya no he had to much respect for iha so he couldnt go on

  • I dont think this was the Smashing Pumpkins low point...I think after the freakin' MASTERPIECE that was Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness...Billy tried to go digital and mellow with Adore..and when his fans didn't really dig it too much.. he tried to get back to where he once belonged..and that was Machina 1.. but I liked the vibe on this album..he just couldn't recreate the wormhole that took us to Mellon Collie....
