  • A refreshingly level headed point of view. Very interesting.

  • hey america, when u wake up????????????whole world suffers...it is time NOW

  • yes yes yes

  • Why isn't this guy fucking president? holy shit

  • The worst mother story I ever heard is that a guy called the home phone of a man and got his girlfriend on the phone, he asked her for his cell number and she gave it to him. The reason the guy was calling (unbeknownst to her), was for a drug payment. She then was charged as a drug dealer and was to prison for 20 years! Her BF, since he had people to turn in, got less than a year. Since she was unaware of this, she had nothing to offer the prosecution.

  • if they want to..... get this into mind... it is not said that all kids want to... so some want to get drunk... and they will find a way to get drunk.... remember your own childhood... what did u do as u were a kid... did u want to ?

  • usa sucks ass

  • If you want to see examples of Federal Government waste, look at the War on Drugs. Forty years now and trillions of dollars and yet its still a big problem in America.

  • what's he saying in the beginning? I never used any ... substance?

  • @DomCurty any "form of illicit" substance.

  • @0synesthete0 thanks

  • freedom! overthrow peacefully! Fight fire with water

  • I don't want anyone to mistake me for pro-prohibition, and I generally think Mr. Gray is one of the best advocates for changing failed drug policies, but that last story was kind of a sham. The mother made a poor decision, probably to support her kids, but it also endangered them. Drugs aren't at fault there, the mother is. Being in a relationship with a narcotics dealer is dangerous and stupid and only puts your children at risk for drug abuse or involvement in a gang.

  • Legalization is the only answer.

  • Legalization is the only answer.

  • Honestly, on the road, I'd rather be dealing with stoned drivers than drunk ones. In my experience, pot tends to make people paranoid whereas alcohol makes people reckless.

I'll take paranoid drivers over reckless ones any day of the week.

Ideally, it would be best to not have to deal with either, but we don't live in fantasy land.

  • @thatguysaid Totally!

  • This is one of only human beings that has taken time to see those who suffer as other human beings; coming from a place of sympathy; empathy. He truly understands the ridiculousness of not allowing access of the most beneficial drug to those who had CNS-related d/o or other chronic pain d/o. He understands that people in pain are desperate. Desperate to feel better, and, improve the quality of their lives.

  • IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE TO DEPRIVE CHRONIC PAIN PATIENTS OF A DRUG WITH SUCH PROVEN EFFICACY. INSTEAD, WE ARE GIVEN PILLS, BY PHARMACY COMPANIES, THAT BARELY TOUCH THE PAIN, ALL THE WHILE, DAMAGING THE LIVER AND KIDNEYS ALONG THE WAY; ONLY BECAUSE THE SAFER AND BETTER ALTERNATIVE, MARIJUANA, ISN'T AVAILABLE..

  • so... why is this guy not president yet?

  • IF ANYONE CAN SUPPORT THIS DRUG WAR STILL, TYOU JUST CANNOT SEE REALITY.

ITS JUST COMMON SENSE AND SIMPLE LOGIC !

IMAGINE THE WONDERFUL WORLDLY CHANGE THAT WILL OCCUR...PLEASE !

  • I'm glad that I'm able to look at this from a human perspective, AS WELL as an economic perspective. I just wish more people could.

  • This guy is right on!!!! Double Plus Good!

  • Prohibition, or should I say the folly of Prohibition demonstrates unequivicolly that the Government is really just a front for the money powers, while the rest of society has become bled dry.

  • Time 2 pressure CONGRESSIONAL CANDIDATES to PASS BILLS to DECRIMINALIZE MARIJUANA for Medicinal & Personal USE

    >Go 2 Twitter & type search hashtags #HR2943 or #HR2835 for LINKS to:

    * US Congress BILLS H.R. 2943 & H.R. 2835

    * TWEET or CONTACT YOUR Congressman & Congressional CANDIDATES

    * Register 2 VOTE

    * Gov't Study

    >Let's Force the Issue & get CANDIDATES to COMMIT to THESE BILLS

    >Tell them 2 SUPPORT & COSPONSOR H.R. 2943 & H.R. 2835

    >Let's Eliminate Drug Crime & Gang Funding. SPREAD THE WORD

  • jim grey for president!

  • This guy, Andrew Napolitano, and Bruce Fein would be my Supreme Court Nominees. We must end the war on drugs. I was formerly a supporter, now I am an opponent. I don't use drugs nor do I drink, but I believe that adults should be able to use them in the privacy of their own home. It's your body, you should be able to put into it whatever you like, be it fatty foods, healthy foods, Drano, Arsenic, whatever. It is your body and your life.

  • I love how when one person like this gives valid reasons for why weed shouldn't be such a big deal all these morons rally around him and get off on the idea of it becoming legal. It won't. Get over it.

  • @MrYouHaveNoClue The burden of proof should be on the other side to prove that it is harmful, otherwise why not make everything illegal? They've never proven that marijuana is harmful.

  • I wonder how any local politician can argue against that!!!

  • end random drug testing at work,it is not about work safety,it's about controlling peoples private lives!!!!

  • ''The congres, the legislature and the government take ever more radical steps to try to make the square peg fit into the round hole''.

He couldn't have said it much better.

  • This guy is brilliant. Makes complete sense and speak so rationally.

  • @Australiandarkhorse Yes, but he is a bastard because while a judge he put people in jail for what he is against now. Actions speak louder than words, and he put many people in jail. Hes a bastard if you ask me. Actions speak louder than words, and judges are puppets of the law-- they have to obey the law.

  • @tenthousandyearsgoon Well, he can't really be a bastard then if you admit that he is just a puppet of the law and was simply having to obey the the ridiculous laws of the land. It's the law that's the bastard mate - not the person. It's important that people from WITHIN the system speak out about this. If someone who has to administer these laws thinks that they are harmful - this is a more powerful argument than someone criticising from the outside.

  • @Australiandarkhorse yes, good point.

  • I never got offered anything in Highschool. I was the one asking..

I was chillin with them highschoolers while I was still in 7th grade.

  • Judge Jim Gray for PRES!

  • oh weed is extremely easy to grow out in the wilderness. and as its name implys once you get it going it will spread (in the right climate)

oklahoma county is actually trying to handle a pandemic of weed plants.

apparently a group of people went driving around throwing out bags and bags of seeds all over the county as a protest to the drug laws.

lamo last count they pulled 8,917 plants in 2008. they said there are well over 15,000 plants. and everytime they pull a plant it drops seeds.

  • There's NO WAY ill let anyone tell me something which grows naturally upon this planet is illegal. Our power is with God, not a manmade law. People are the masters of our govt. The Constitution gives us control of our own destiny. "Sic Semper Tyrannus". Its 300million Americans vs. 1,000 Treasonous politicians. Its time to show the world how we handle turncoats.

No army can stop an idea whose time has come.

  • And no saying, regardless of how clever it sounds, makes it a true statement. As a disabled vet, I wish it were true, but things are not that simple, and it takes more than wishful thinking. This guy for instance, is doing something about it, which is what can work if enough help. God isn't doing anything to help anyone, look at Somalia, those poor people need god more than nearly anyone. People like us need to stand up and DO something, aggravate our politicians to realizing the truth.

  • absolutely spot on Jim, holy cow

  • Any illuminated mind would need only a peripheral exposure to the great controversy over the suppression of marijuana by the government, to understand that something is drastically wrong with the marijuana issue and the government is not acting responsibly on behalf of it's citizenry.

We fled England at a time when we were oppressed by an uncaring King, founded America and established a new government. That government has now become every bit as uncaring as the last King was.

    Revolution NOW!

  • If the American system cannot provide jobs, what else can you expect people to do to generate a living wage? Those who grow pot for sale, often do it for that very reason, they need to live and as those who understand the great myth, it is not a moral issue with them, it is simply a practical means of sustaining themselves in a system where they are not given an alternative economic opportunity. Our leaders have all filled their pockets at our expense, THEY have set the example that we follow.

  • i agree with what this guy is saying but i would raise my hand at the second Q too. ive smoked pot and drank a beer on school campus. during class.

  • Nominate this man for Sainthood, he speaks with more wisdom than most can handle. I like to come to a video where the naysayers (who listen), have no snarky comments to make because they cannot sensibly refute his words or his wisdom and this is a classic video that needs to reach a broader audience. My greatest fear is that he'll be killed in a "traffic" accident because if the government doesn't squelch him, I'm afraid that the drug lords will.

Right on Judge Gray, some of us can hear you!

  • this man is extremely well spoken and i appreciate everything he is doing to reverse 70 years of failed laws set by the federal government.

  • ok, I've listen to the whole Part 1 & 2, One question still stands, how would they regulate the seeds from the weed? Could the people just grow the weed on their own? Leaving most of the government out of people business. And leaving the Hemp business regulating from the government. He sounds like Texas Repulication Ron Paul

  • High quality weed does not come with seeds, just like dispensary weed doesn't. If it's sold in stores, chances are the seeds won't be in what you buy.

  • More people may end up growing but most will still just be buying it IMO.

  • Exactly, people CAN grow all there own veggies/fruits, but most don't. Most don't even have the space/money for that size of garden and maintenance.

  • Hey skateboardergod7 - Have you ever tried to grow marijuana yourself? It's pretty easy to grow low quality marijuana outdoors, but growing commercial grade stuff is extremely difficult, and setting up an indoor grow room costs a lot of money. I have a book on growing marijuana that is 2 inches thick. Why would anyone go to all that trouble and expense, if they could just buy it at a government regulated store for half the price of the marijuana on the black market? The answer is, they wouldn't.

  • Being a Canadian AND DAMN PROUD OF IT !!! I want this guy on my side.

OH And I smoke pot. I also smoke pot when I race my Norco Mountain bike. Helps my concentration and focus. I really do not understand the mentality in the States. Whet the hell?? You people are living in the stone ages. Hemp for instance. You can make just about anything with it. And weed itself. Well,, I refuse to take prescription pain killers. a G does just the same and it wont cause other health issues.

  • Comment removed

  • Did you pay ANY attention to what he said?

Your confusion isn't a good advertisement for weed, dude...

  • Too many crashes on that skateboard? This judge is one of the most articulate activists fighting for our cause. Try watching the video again, this time with your head removed from your ass.

  • CANCER CURE = RICK SIMPSON'S HEMP OIL

  • I live in Canada, and I smoke marijuana. When I spent four years of high school at a school of the arts I got my marijuana from my drawing master, and it benefited me. It's very alien to me hearing how the U.S. federal government can attack caught users' student careers over marijuana.

  • Lol wut a fucked up system you got there in America, Oh Cannabis...! i mean canada

  • did he just compare marijuana useage to rape and murder?..

  • Listen to the entire thing. He is saying how stupid it is that the crime of possessing marijuana is more permanent damage than raping someone!

  • i dont see the problem i mean pot is like the bast and like its not really a drug i mean drugs kill pot ummm the last time i checked pot does not kill it helps ppl relax and helps people with like cancer ect i just hate the face ppl r goin crazy over a little thing like this also it will put alot of money into the states

  • YOUR COMPLETELY RIGHT

  • Be nice to see more intelligence in the world. This is a good start.

  • I fully agree...

  • awesome, and its absolutely true Pot was so easy for me to get when I was in highschool and it never cause hangovers, and I could get away with alot of shit while on it... that being said it worked out nicely in that I grew out of it, with out ever developing any drinking habits (and any other narcotics) so... I like to pat myself on the back.

  • Sickens me that we would continue to tear similar lives apart, drain the wallet of the taxpayer, ensure more young recruits catch a glimpse of the fast and illegal lifestyle. It's always the same story with the kids in harm's way excellent video but despicable truth.

  • The War On Stupid.

People WorldWide are on Stupid. Tell you Friends and Family on how to protect yourself against Stupid and about the harmfull affects of being Stupid.

  • This is wonderful! We need more people like Lee to talk about this.. This country REALLY needs to re-think its drug policy.

  • Alcohol raises blood pressure to rise. High blood pressure causes glaucoma. Glaucome causes a real bad pain in the friggin eye. Marijuana eases the pain.

I never made a habit of drinking, but I WILL smoke everday. Nobody can stop me.

  • Excellent information! Thank you for making and posting this video.

  • America is a joke. Everybody knows this, yet nothing is done, because some rich people would lose money in the process.

  • @rougy11 Yeah, the sad truth is that our biggest woes are totally fixable, but the top 1% don't want to give up a few dollars for the cause. Because what do they care, they get paid either way, right?

  • great interview.,. you have established the problem, now where is the solution to get from here to there?

    maybe it's in part 2....

  • This is a MUST SEE!

Without a doubt the War on Drugs has FAILED MISERABLY.

KUDOS & ***** to Judge Gray and Your Channel.
