It's a shame there's no behind-the-scenes look at developing the game engine of SMW. When you program a game engine, any slight error you make in its logic can produce all sorts of bizarre effects. This video hardly scratches the surface of what can happen. Imagine jumping up, only you stand in mid-air afterwards instead of falling back down. Or you slide down a hill, but you slide right through the flat ground below and "die". Game design may be frustrating, but it also has amusing quirks.

That's not an epic fail, bro. It would have been a fail if the player had died because he did something stupid.

This is the player either being unaccustomed to the hack that he is playing, or dying for the purpose of making a video about the fact that the hack has a cheap gimmick in this level.

@wyssmaster That was the hacker himself playtesting his own level. The "fail" was that when he BUILT the level, he didn't realize you could die during the victory screen.

there's a program called lunar magic, and it can hack anything on the game you want it to. i deleted the whole first level and made this one in place, but i had to fix the fail glitch, and also i'm making it longer and more difficult.
