I was also amazed at how the community and total strangers from all over the states came together to take care of one another. It truly was inspiring. I was honored to have been given the opportunity to put this together to show the world how a small town in Texas came together in the true spirit of 'neighbors helping neighbors'. I was one of the firefighterd there and it was amazing to see the friends, family, and firefighters come together to save the belongings and the area of someone they barely knew. The fire depts worked together with each other as if they have been together for years and the help from the community was awe-inspiring and I've never seen anything like that before.
