Why don't you show a performance video of the product you actually sell??? You regularly criticise others companies for editing their performance videos to make the trick look better. But atleast they show the correct trick.
@Lith825 Actually, I could have performed this version a whole lot more open, but I made it look similar to the practical version, which is why I think it is perfectly reasonable.
On top of that, since the very beginning we clearly put that we sell another, more practical version which looks alike. That would be like a company that edits their trailers or fakes their performances saying from the beginning that they edited or faked it. Nothing wrong or unethical about it. ^^
I can come up with an explanation, but I have no idea if it's how you pulled this off. Either way, you gave me some cool ideas and entertainment. Nice job. What's the difference between the "practical" and "expert" versions?
@jonnyrotic The expert version can actually be done a whole lot more open, but for that it is a lot more difficult and less practical too. But.. you could play this performance in slow motion and probably not see anything happen. ^^
@TCTTstudent you must be shitting. they dont actually have to look at the deck to name really any card they want, second they can touch really any card or name any number. the deck can be shuffled but its perfectly fine if not better like this and you can even ask them to touch a card which they think is most unlikely the card they named. i think acaan effects with shuffles and cuts are way suspicious because spectators think you could just shuffle or cut the named card to wherever.
@TCTTstudent not true, especially not when they are on a distance. you can barely see teh cards in the video too. just put down 2$ for the exposure video instead of being a cheapass who thinks he knows best. it covers it all.
@TCTTstudent You're definitely not thinking as a spectator.
First, I clearly said that it was an ordinary deck of cards when spreading the deck.
Second, if you'd be a performer you would know that showing the cards triggers the brain to name any card. Often, when not showing the faces (whichever face it is and at whichever distance it is), spectators have to think really long.
Third, they don't know that they will pick their card yet, and even if they do it hits very hard.
@Mintberrycrunchhhh There are a couple of reasons. First off, there was never supposed to be an expert version. I came up with it while practicing the original (more practical) one. Secondly, I want people to get something useful out of my exposure videos. And last but not least, I had the idea of exposing the expert version in the same video as well but it would make the exposure video too long, which was a good enough reason to keep it for myself. Hope you understand. ^^
Holy karp... I can't believe you just did that in a way that looks way clean... You arse! Always performing them so perfectly, making me feel nooby! I'm buying it anyways =P
What's magic about that?! I could have told you even before the trick began that you will get the card lol... I knew it, I said to myself: "That random card he selected is definitely going to be the 7 of hearts", and of course I was right! No surprise there, so I don't know what the big deal it! :)
@nanquan491 if a magician says hes going to make a card come to the top you know exactly whats going to happen too. it still is magic. get rid of your magician lenses and look at this from spectators eyes. they name a card, they touch a card, its the card they name. that definitely is magic... or tons of luck but we all know Mark isnt a lucky kind of guy
this is fantastic! is there any chance that you could upload a performance of the practical version so we know what it looks like? thanks.

@Xen86306 This is what the practical version looks like. Could've performed this expert version a lot more open but I didn't exactly for that sake.=)
