  • I saw one.. it was freaking amazing. Took my breath away, wish I had taken a picture or something, there were like 3 of them overlapping each other right around the moon. It was beautiful. Oh well.

  • last night there was a moon halo and when ever i or anyone else saw it , we were disgusted with it and it made us feel sick is there any origin behind them?

  • Is that real ????

  • it is real cuz i once saw it

  • Such a gorgeous thing. I think the halo is commonly seen when cirrostratus clouds are present. It gives it that beautiful halo. 5 stars!!

  • wow, how can the moon shine so much !? looks like a night-sun xD

  • Your videos are beautiful, Mark!

  • was that big shiny thing the moon?

  • Beautiful,

There's a site called stage6 that has a collection of time lapse channels.

  • Wow...at times the clouds give the effect of rippling water. Beautiful film.

  • Spectacular!! x

  • Great clip, Alaska?

  • I think I've seen something similar with the sun. The sun was high on an evenly overcast day. There was a rainbow that completed a large circle around the sun, and no, I wasn't high!

  • where was this?

  • I saw one a few months ago. It was amazing. I heard it was considered a rainbow. Thanks

  • whoah! Nice video 06solareclipse! Thanks for posting it!!

  • awesome video. i notice a few stars are moving the same direction as the moon and the rest seem to be still. Can you explain what stars( or satelites) these might be? It also looks like the moon doubles it's size in the halo. Is this something like refraction when looking into the water?

  • absolutely great, wondering if you could place those wondering dots; planets, or slow satellites?

  • Amazing, thanks

  • Wooooooo!!!

  • Beautiful time lapse video!

  • Nice, I love the night sky at that place. Never seen that much here in Sweden. Beautiful. 1 comment. :D
