third, im an upperclassmen. Ive been at WCU for three years, and each year i have to deal with shitty generalizations and logic-less speeches on how wcu should blow itself up. the town is being supported by the college. it simply would not be as big as it is if there were no campus. most of the income is parking tickets, convenience sales, and bar income, where much of the costs associated with alcohol goes to taxes. all of this is more common with younger, out of town people.

This is not a riot, it's a celebration, and that kid didn't wind up getting arrested. Phans and police all did well. There were only 2 arrests that night and they happened uptown.

good win for the wins, but the Yanks are coming. If you know anything about baseball, this nextseries will not be a complete walkover like the last two. The Yanks are a better hitting team and their pitchers match up very well despite the fact they will run a three man rotation. Even though they have had a great season, I do think they fall short this year.
