I agree. Madonna was willing to sell herself Cyndi is vocally one of the best talents out there. And the fact the she continues to make music w/o a commercial hit shows that she still got fans.

mistymm - she is usually committed to her "True Colors" tours during the spring/summer. This tour goes to all the major gay pride events across the USA to raise awareness of Equality issues. If she tours outside the US now it's going to be in the winter months. The "True Colors" tour has been going for a few years now and Cyndi gets other artists like B-52's, Erasure and Debbie Harry to tour with her. Cyndi is an avid gay rights campaigner and wants better legal rights for gays in the US.

@Iceblooo It's so sad to see every Cyndi Lauper video marred by her fans griping about Madonna. Fact is, Cyndi Lauper is a unique performer with an AMAZING voice, but Madonna's got a good voice and a far superior output—her music is more consistently interesting and more diverse. It's embarrassing to act as if Madonna got where she is by giving up her self-respect (!) or by selling sex; you can't do that for 30 years. It's not the gimmicks, it's the product. But...I love both. Why not?
