i was the stunt coordinator on STRIPES and I had a chance to work with IVAN what a great director .i also had a chance to work with his son JASON REITMAN he directed THANK YOU FOR SMOKING, JASON is a chip off the old block .i would love to work with either of them again soon .THAT IS THE FACT JACK!!!
i met jason when he was a little guy ,now look at him IVAN put him in the directors chair on STRIPES and said now your a director WOW ..

My 3 favorite movies that Ivan Reitman did was: one) "Stripes", two) "Ghostbusters" and three) "Kindergarten Cop". Recently, Ivan executive produced 3 movies under his deal at DreamWorks: Hotel for Dogs, The Uninvited and the upcoming I Love You, Man. His production company was Northern Lights, which is now The Montecito Picture Company. So far this year, at the moment, Hotel for Dogs made nearly $70 million in the domestic box office and The Uninvited made nearly $30 million up to date.

Reitman was born in Slovakia (former Czechoslovakia). He escaped to Canada in 1950 along with his parents when he was a boy. Does anybody know if he speaks slovak?
