I would like to point out that very few of these passes are actually on target. The vast majority are pretty actually terrible passes. Most of them are really badly underthrown. He just had great receivers. When he threw a ball straight up into the air to nobody in particular in 2008, there was a good chance Robiskie or Hartline would come down with it. In 2009, he had 4 receivers that were just as inexperienced as him. they couldn't bail him out.

It doesn't even need to be a triple option. If they just ran a standard shotgun option more often and occasionally threw screen passes, their offense would open up a lot more. But again, Tressel is too conservative to put in an attack like that, so I guess we'll just sit here wondering what might be.

I would like to point out that very few of these passes are actually on target. The vast majority are pretty actually terrible passes. Most of them are really badly underthrown. He just had great receivers. When he threw a ball straight up into the air to nobody in particular in 2008, there was a good chance Robiskie or Hartline would come down with it. In 2009, he had 4 receivers that were just as inexperienced as him. they couldn't bail him out.

Both went to schools to become a traditional qb, learning the footwork, touch, accuracy, and also they were both atheletes. mcnabb played basketball in college too.

He is an incredible athelete. That is for sure. But as a qb in the nfl, many would have to second guess. He defitnitely will get drafted. He seems to remind me of Vince Young. The qb should be able to make incredible plays with his arm most of the time. Not with his legs.

The only possible loss I see is at Iowa, but I'm still not afraid of anyone at all. They will be a top 5 team after they beat Miami, and who else is going to be a contender other than Bama? The SEC will be in a down year next year, USC is fucked (thank god), none of the Big East teams ever deliver except for West Virginia, and Oregon won't do anything non-conference wise.
There is no question the national championship is Bama vs. OSU next year. And I hope Tressel steps on Saban's heart.

You know, Dickrod wants to be the one who brings the option attack into the Big Ten, and he doesn't have a shot in hell at doing so.
Tressel needs to understand that Pryor is an option quarterback, and if he ran a spread option with Herron and with all the power of OSU's line? They'd be practically unbeatable.

It doesn't even need to be a triple option. If they just ran a standard shotgun option more often and occasionally threw screen passes, their offense would open up a lot more. But again, Tressel is too conservative to put in an attack like that, so I guess we'll just sit here wondering what might be.
