I have absolutely no probelms with phone with the smarttype keyboards, but when you are dialing a phone number that includes letters, (i.e. 1800-safe-auto), you have to think of a normal keyboard and it is frustrating.

either you have a defective battery or your battery is completely dead and you should let it charge for a couple minutes before you try to turn it on

I've had this phone for a little over a year. Had to replace it once. The battery is horrible if you text, talk and use it for work email. It runs down in 10 hours on a good day. I did have to purchase several extra batteries and make sure I always have them. other than that I love this phone, especially the wireless sync option. I had a pearl prior to this, which I loved, but had to do a hard sync all the time.

i really dont like this phone, i have it, ive had it for probably 3-4 months and i just dont like it.

the battery life is TERRIBLE! i have to charge it like every night, which becomes a hassle and i dont even have any programs runnign on it and the wifi is disabled.

the spinning wheel thing in the middle doesnt spin so well anymore, the phone just isnt good qaulity, i cant even hear people im talking to anymore. not to mention tmobile has no service where my work is. tmobile sucks

well i have both phones and my friend gave me his 6 month old Shadow (thats how i have both the shadow and the pearl0 now i like the pearl becasue it seem the features are a lil easier to understand than the shadow but the shodow does do better in terms o over all reatures like the sweet video camera which i dont even think the pearl 8120 even has( correct me if im wrong) but the main problem im hering about the shadow is the wi fi burning up the battery to quickly does ne1 else have that issue

The new Sidekick LX is $299.99 with a 2 year contract. The new Sidekick Slide (made by motorola) is i believe $99.99 with a 2 year contract. And the Sidekick iD is $49.99 with a 2 year contract.
