@schoooter1 37 years ago; that's quite a while by human standards. About half a human lifetime in the USA; more on a global scale. Before personal computers and the internet, only four years after man landed on the moon. Children born after the war were leaving college . . . it's a while ago!
How wonderful it is when we look at the Bible and see the same struggles 2000 years ago with the religious and the incorrect application of teachings and scripture as we do today. It is almost as if the New Testament is not an old set of events 2000 years ago but contemporary current message and teaching for real Catholics today.
We need to contact, in writing to our Bishops. Praise them when they stand up for the teachings of the Church and remind them of thei resposibilities when they do not!
Tell them "we" deserve a Shepherd in our Church, leave the Social Workers to their task's!
Paul @ElizabethIrish ... This is a global phenomenon so what is the influence that can do such co-ordinated widespread damage? A rhetorical question of course but the secular world needs to look at the patterns inherent in secularist society and ask does it really lead to freedom or a worsening of the global problems and a dehumanising of humans. Secularism is a lie and built on lies ... come on down Satan! Stop hiding.
I was flabbergasted when Fr Pflagler was given a "lifetime achievement award" (what is that - and Oscar?) - only to have him turn around and slap the Church in the face.
@heroeswillneverdie Surely there are good Bishops - it is just a pity that they don't seem to want to speak up for fear of what, I'm not quite sure. Then again, if they *are* good, I suppose they WOULD be speaking out about what injures the Church. Hmmm... ;-)
Great video..... and so true unfortunately.

Who would have known that those words would ring even truer 37 years later?

Let's clean the Catholic Church from evil. Jesus is on our side. Be faithful to the teachings of Jesus Christ and the real Catholic Church.

May the Lord raise up for the faithful many bishops the likes of St. Charles Borromeo. Although I freely admit we deserve it not.

@ElizabethIrish We did not deserve God dying on the cross for our sins. God is too good to us :)

@ElizabethIrish I'm grateful for a Creator who didn't agree and sent us a Savior. :)

Are in US any bishops who can be set as good example for others? Because it sounds there are none.
