When he falls off the bench at about 0:50 I just started laughing because he just flings himself off the bench. And the look on his face when he the baby band starts playing is so great.
Yep, as a matter of fact I've heard Mr Borge left Europe on the last American ship to depart under pressure as he'd made some unfavourable jokes about Herr Schicklegruber. He then mostly learned english by watching movies.
For all that they did we can all be grateful to the Nazis for sending The Great Dane our way
Absolutely Fantastically Hillarious, there has never been anyone like him, he is definately a one off. To play like that takes incredible skill just playing, but being fun at the same time is just pure magic. Along with other great musicians, such as Motzart, Bethovan, Straus, and more recently Elvis, his music style and humour will go on for ever.
RIP Victor. Saw him live in Oslo in the fall of 1999. It was amazing, hilarious and he was in GREAT form. Even then he pretended to fall of the piano chair! He was scheduled for a second show in May of 2000 and I got tickets for that as well, but then it was cancelled because he was ill. Six months later he died :(

Bösendorfer was popular for making pianos with 92 (and 97) keys.

It's hard to find comedian like them nowadays..
carolynkkh 4 years ago 3
Try searching for Hans Liberg, a Dutch piano comedian. That man does the same kind of humer, though a bit faster and he sings as well.
