  • it actually sounds good lol

  • OMG, I always used to laugh at that part at 2:17

  • When he falls off the bench at about 0:50 I just started laughing because he just flings himself off the bench. And the look on his face when he the baby band starts playing is so great.

    Victor Borge was truly amazing.

  • can anyone pls tell me what is the name of the music at 2: 10? it's in a cartoon!

  • "pop goes the weasel"

  • SUPERB!!!!

  • One of the best renditions of this piece that I've heard...

  • Right when the orchestra started playing, I was about to put a spoonful of soup in my mouth! I couldn't stop laughing!

  • LOL @ the end!!

    i wasn't expecting that

  • Hahaha, 1:52 It is colonal bogeys march, an old danish text for that line say: "Waiter i want more beer!"

  • twinkle twinkle?

  • I love it!!! I laughed out loud when he fell at the beginning....So funny.

  • 1:56 victor borge's thinks: "WTH?!'

  • he is a dane (from denmark)

  • Yep, as a matter of fact I've heard Mr Borge left Europe on the last American ship to depart under pressure as he'd made some unfavourable jokes about Herr Schicklegruber. He then mostly learned english by watching movies.

For all that they did we can all be grateful to the Nazis for sending The Great Dane our way

  • Victor Borge- the only person I've ever seen who can make falling off a piano the most hilarious thing in the world!

  • The Muppeter Philharmoniker........Borge's look of "you've got to be kidding" after the orchestra started split my sides! Hilarious!!!

  • ROTFL

  • Hehe... I've always thought the kazoo was a sadly neglected and underrated orchestral instrument.

  • "BUNG, BONG, bing!"

    haha, so funny!

  • Personally, I find the sound of the "orchestra" beautiful, no kidding.

  • love it. I must say that the orchestra is very unique

  • a brilliant pianist, a pathetic orchestra

  • i wonder if this is the same muppet's show episode with fozzy and victor playing moonlight sonata

  • Boy I Wonder How They Play All Grown Up.

  • Long live Victor Borge forever, may he not be forgotten

  • Isn' he te greatest?? where could u find comedy in music if not by V.Borge

  • I miss Victor Borge! RIP Mr Borge

  • The Tchaikovsky Piano Concerto by... all means!

  • I love how he says it's a SHORT piano...

Bösendorfer was popular for making pianos with 92 (and 97) keys.

  • Absolutely Fantastically Hillarious, there has never been anyone like him, he is definately a one off. To play like that takes incredible skill just playing, but being fun at the same time is just pure magic. Along with other great musicians, such as Motzart, Bethovan, Straus, and more recently Elvis, his music style and humour will go on for ever.

  • wow, you spelt Elvis correctly

    Mozart

    Beethoven

    Strauss

    you douchebag!

  • gotta love the drums in the back...babies pounding on em...LOL

  • LOOOLMAO This clip maked me sick of laughter, yet an other jewel of that mans performances.

  • this is so cute!

  • Sorry I cannot hear what is the ??? in this sentence, can anyone tell me? ;) I understand the others and it is very funny indeed :D

Ladies and Gentleman it's my ?????????????? to play the er....

  • He says; "Ladies and Gentleman, it's my PRIVILEGE to tplay the ..."

  • Gotta love those freakin' scary babies! And Victor Borge, truly a comic genius.

  • This is Greas.

    Poor Csaikovsky

  • It's hard to find comedian like them nowadays..

  • Try searching for Hans Liberg, a Dutch piano comedian. That man does the same kind of humer, though a bit faster and he sings as well.

  • @viggom8N I'm sorry, but his name was Børge Rosenbaum:-)

  • RIP Victor. Saw him live in Oslo in the fall of 1999. It was amazing, hilarious and he was in GREAT form. Even then he pretended to fall of the piano chair! He was scheduled for a second show in May of 2000 and I got tickets for that as well, but then it was cancelled because he was ill. Six months later he died :(

  • It's so sad when someone this talented died. I feel that his departure is really a waste.

  • @carolynkkh: But his time here was VERY well spent. He should be congratulated for that!

  • Victor rulez

  • he plays so smoooothly :D

  • Kazoos and creepy babies- always comedy.
