It's so so long ago, but I when I was a teenager I saw these guys play twice in London on their UK tour, as we must have heard a John Peel session, or maybe this record. Both times, we met them in the bar afterwards and Colorblind James and the band were very gracious to the gang of us. You can't find this album now, but it still sounds good.

I used to play Memphis on my radio show here in Rochester NY, it was a huge request item well into the 90's. Those breaks in that song were musicianship of the highest order!

Wish I could get a good CD copy of this album!

i first heard colourblind james on andy kershaw in the mid 80's. I'm cosidering a move to memphis, thats memphis tennessee, it worked for elvis presley, why cant it work for me. Wonderful,
