She's def. not nc55, that's my shade and my complexion is much darker than hers. MAC is excellent at providing shades for dark complexions.

I've found it difficult to get the right shade for this foundation. I got NC50, but had to mix it with NC45 as it was slightly too dark for me. I use the 190SE to apply this, then dust over some MSFN with my 134 brush to set.

I quite like it, but also doubt I'll repurchase. I think I prefer the Moistureblend. Think I also prefer Bobbi Brown's creamy concealer over the Studio Sculpt one.

I have the same problem with the color. I'm an NC55 and when I put it on its fine for the first few hours but it gets darker as the day goes on. I dont know if I should get a lighter shade, what do you recommend? And also I tried mixing it with Aveeno Clear complexion Daily Moisturizer and it lightens the shade a little bit as well as taking away the oiliness I usually experience after a few hours. Love ya vids and the lip color seems fine, but it probably depends on the lighting.

Hey there, I think you should defiantly bring it back and get rematched for a color that matches your skin tone. Tell them the issue you have with it darkening up :0)

Thank so much for this review girl. I attended one of those MAC Seminars on Sat and I found out that I am a mix between a NW45 and NC50...who knew?! LOL, but I bought some NC50 concealer in the lil tube and forgot all about the new stuff. I think I'm gonna take it back tomorrow and get the concealer in the eyeshadow case (studio something or nother', lol), so thanks for your insight!

Studio sculpt does fade even with primer.....plus it broke me out, but so does all of mac liquid foundation. So I stick w/ the powder. It's been working for years. Thanks for the review though, and you look beautiful...as usual :)

Hey sis!!! Girl, thank you so much for your honest about how long you should wear that foundation and . I keep hearing about the gel consistancy and was wondering about the blocking of the pores. I ended up returning my Studio Sculpt after about five uses. In the mirror this stuff looked flawless and perfect BUT (lol), It didn't last more than five hours. Then I did a fresh face of foundation one day with this...did two videos in a row w/in the same hour and on camera it looked like my face was bare...nothing on it...freckles, spots, AWFUL!!!! Oh, and within three hours it turned orangey yellow on me when at first it was pretty...it wasn't meant for me. I am enjoying the concealer. xJenn
