Good video. Solar flares are not increasing in strength and the solar max is definitely below normal. Furthermore, historically, it looks like the sun may be going into a long hibernation. If the situation is as bad as he's saying then him and his militia buddies will need them, but after they kill off the looters and scum, they'll probably sooner or later turn on each other. We have just started prepping march 2011. It is overwhelming we planted our first garden, got some chickens, have 3 months of food so far. we will buy our first firearm in the next 3 wks. @steveman03 Just remember , something is better than nothing. Even just one thing every week "extra' and store it. Dollar store is awesome for great finds. Everyone can save at least a dollar a week. THrift stores always have great finds for storage containers. Keep your chin up - I was right there at one time in my life. God will provide for those who seek Him.

i've been observing the markets for a while now, and I strongly believe that after gold, fuel (meaning oil and the food we eat) will both be the new hot commodity, until the time comes where food will take the lead over both fuel and gold.

Pasta sauce in a glass jar is better anyhow. After a couple of years in storage the citric acid in a tomatoe based sauce has started to eat away the steel inside the can and it gives the sauce a metallic taste.

Canned tuna in oil is good too, not because of the taste but because of the nicely stored fat.

@mahuiki There will not be food on the shelves, because due to the inflation it will be too expensive for manufacturers to keep up with the costs to produce the foodstuffs!! And pay the workers! The workers are not going to work for low wages as the food prices go up to produce food that they cannot even afford to buy at the end of the day...
