@mrodrigo24 accents on 6 and 8 or 7 and 8.....that has more to do with the underlying groove. This represents one of many ways to play basic compas on the guitar. Bulerias gets played slightly different in different places as well as different eras.... this is a good starting point.
complete repect for counting at the same time as playing this amazing toque... incluso los gitanos no lo pueden explicar pero tu lo has coneguido -- chapo!
if the accented beats arent clearly accented how can one avoid going fuera de compas? why distinguish where the 12-beat forms start when after the first cycle it's all the exact same?
keep track of the accents in your mind. a guitarist is responsible for many other things besides playing just the accents. falsetas for example often strongly emphasize beats and counterbeats other than the common accents.
it is good, but at the same time very funny. I do not know anyone who would be able to play so many compases and count the beat even in Spanish. very impressive and inspiring. I guess you could make a new Guiness record. 12 hours playing buleria and counting 12 beat should be enough to make it :)
flamenco teachers are very able to play all these compasses and more and count. it becomes seccond nature after a while. if they couldnt count they would never realy understand the compas they play.
Great lesson here. This is what most of the videos on flamenco do not show, and is very important the compass to be able to understand the rythm in flamenco. Muchas gracias por tu ayuda.
It would be interesting to see this counted with a metronome playing as well.
