@ElGuapoJoe The Fan Is Covered In dust you need to take the computer apart take out the fan and then take the fan apart and clean it out. The It won't run hot It happens to alot of laptops.

@TheHorrorTastic I did that a week ago. Surprisingly, there was not much dust. The heatsinks were clean. The fan was covered with a thin layer of dust. I spend a whole day cleaning my laptop. I noticed an improvement. Maybe even a slight amount of dust can severely affect the laptop.

For everyone that gets overheating problems, you need to take your laptop apart completely and clear away the dust that behind the fan, i bought a used HP 6735s and it kept going to 90c in idle, after doing this the laptop now stays at 40-50c :)

I have 6715b laptop it runs better then my Desktop .

It overheats but the maximum temp it reached was 80C on Summer season.

The only defect in these laptops are that they are not made for Warm places .

this laptop is all good i have one but it over heats it gets over 100c then cuts out, my battery is fucked i cant unplug it so i cut 2 holes on the bottom stuck a gpu and cpu heat-sink and fave give it some legs usb mouse and keyboard now it gets used as a desk top

The temp. exceed 90 degrees, almost all the time, this is uncanny. I do everything, believed me. The sound is good when it works.. overheats yeah dosent charge sometimes when you have the charger in aswell stays at 25% and says its on charge still same % four hours later. it was ok for the first week then it went rubbish...

AMD Turion 2Ghz Dual , 3GB Ram, 250GB HDD, and ATI HD 3200

for just 550€

I´m still using it and it still runs everything perfectly.

Bought it 470 euro with a amd turion 2.0ghz dual, 2Gb ram and 160 hdd and it runs hd perfectly (but i added 2Gigs more ram so de hd3200 has now 512mb vram)

Also it has now windows 7 Ultimate x64

But is this laptop still in the shops? :P

But i take it; its still within the Warranty period. If they dont want to help, let it overheat intill the processor melts out and takes the motherboard down with it, and hopefully you should get a replacement

Her voice is annoying, and did anyone notice she said you can plug in your vga into your big screen TV? even though VGA is analog. Also plugging a phone jack will not give you instant internet access. Can't make a workstation out of a laptop. Round edges on laptops arent different, you see them in most laptops. CPU does not have anything to do with audio...

VGA to TV. Yes, as designed, it can be done. VGA to HDMI adapter then into TV. ATI graphics even transport audio.

Plugging a phone cable into the modem surprisingly does get you internet. Who would have thunk it? Although, given, you wouldnt know what to do after plugging the cable in.

why on earth would want to do that? the Gpu isnt that awesome. I know you can get internet on a phone modem, but its not an instant access like I've said before, and when will ever use a modem when you have wireless capabilities? If you dont have wireless at home then I can see why, if you cant afford broadband I can see why. But im talking about on the go, you would probably not go and plug in a modem cable if you can goto hotspots with wireless. especially on vacations.

...to get on the internet when your internet connection stops working (maybe the person you're stealing the signal from stopped paying the bill), your modem messes up, maybe your wireless card breaks. Could be in a storm and your cable internet goes out for a couple of hours, but your phone line doesn't. Not many new televisions have VGA but it depends how large you consider to be "big screen", and how old the tv is.

Now, to be the first one to judge the review correctly: You are full of crap. I have this laptop, and it had to be repaired twice, and the webcam sucks, the keys break, the audio quality is terrific, the built in microphone picks up the vents on the pc, so it's more noise than it is your sound. the graphics processor could be better, even tho' 3200 isn't all that bad, the build quality is bad, the pci expansion card slot, that i didn't even heard mentioned breaks easily, and the laptop bends 1in
