The scandinavian symphonic bands get acclaim. The dutch symphonic bands are legendary. AND YET.....2 German symphonic metal bands: Vanden Plas & Edenbridge may the best of the entire genre. I have heard 100s of these bands and know many of them personally, so I can say this: when 2 bands come along that make me forget about Dream Theater and Pink Floyd, then these 2 bands have simply exceeded the standard. Thats an incredible reality.

@fuwmg I MET THEM AT PROGPOWERUSA! They were very good. Do you know about: ILLUSION SUITE. What about Seventh Wonder? Royal Hunt? These are all veteran bands in the same genre that are excellent.

This song starts with a godly intro+verses, but the melody of the chorus falls flat on its face. Shame though, they were on a roll with Scarlet Flowerfields, that was a total winner in the chorus department.

Went looking for good bands and came across a really bad one... Lucky for me I have Vanden Plas to come back to when my ears hurt. This is my favorite band ever. And this album was the perfect album, all the songs were mind blowingly good, if you don't own the album buy it.

I cant believe what I've just heard...wow...I had no idea that mortals (if i could call them that) could make such...perfect music. The whole song makes your emotions run to places where you have never felt them before. I've listened to thousands upon thousands of songs in my life, but this is by leaps and bounds the greatest song I have ever heard. My heart started to feel constricted towards the end and wishing that such perfection could not come to an end.

vanden plas and at least 20 other great actors and singers performed christ0 as a metal opera last year in munich.

the band was playing in the pit while the actors were performing on stage in front of a really nice stage design. i think you might have liked it. ;)

i went there three times and i wish i would have gone there even more often.

let's hope they'll perform again in the next few years. it's definitely worth the money for a journey to germany ;)

Andy ist toll. Er sieht nicht nur verdammt gut aus, hat nicht nur geile Haare, seine Stimmw verzaubert einen immer wiede auf's Neue.

Torsten mit seinem Bärtchen ist aber auch äußerst knuffig. Er ist meiner Freundin ihr Basslehrer. Was man da alles so mitbekommt.^^

Die beiden Lill-Brüder (Stephan und Andreas) sind die Brüder meines Lehrers.

Günther ist natürlich auch klasse. :)
