My mom was the only person who was unsupportive. She called me a crime against nature, an abomination, and worst of all, she said that I'm not her daughter anymore. I forgive her, but will never see her again, she hurt me bad, and it will take time to regain my trust. So I say, loud and proud.. "I'M GAY!"

This is a documentary that is desperately needed, with so many more youth accepting their sexuality at an early age and no longer wanting to hide.

Brings back so many memories of my own time coming out to my immediate family, and the time it took for the initial shock and emotions to heal.

Truly an opportunity to be an amazing resource for parents and families.

Coming out is one of the hardest things you could ever do, I know that personally. Parents do have to realize that THEIR dreams for their children won't always come true. Whether they're straight or not, a child makes it's own pathway.

My oldest son, who is now 17, came out to me a few years ago. When he came out, he was pale, shaking, crying...and uttered the hardest words in his life, at least to this point. I told him then, and I tell him now, son, you are who you are and you love who you love. I reminded him that there is nothing he could do that would make me stop loving him and that IS the truth. I just pray that he finds someone who will love him as much as he loves others. What more can a Dad ask for? Really?
