  • Neat, but not right. It is realy just simple room and not exactly how it must be. If you draw sketch to follow and work with on site, you need real mesurements, trusses etc.

  • @kppteam Agreed, but that would be for a more advanced student. This episode is for those people who are brand-new to SketchUp. Roofing is a complex subject and if you provide too much information at the beginning, it will discourage the beginning student.

  • @harwoodpodcast Ok, this is what i'm saying. Did you plan to make some advanced tutorials, not only for the roofs? Lots of people like it. Me 2. I didn't find a Sketchup bugs, plugins tutorial, just a idea.

  • @kppteam An episode showing the Kaweah Falls roof will be coming out soon, but it won't have trusses shown. I'm not trying to show all the elements required to build a structure; just the general techniques on how to use SketchUp to model. BTW: In any project, if you want to show the real measurements, just type that value in while you're modeling the structure.

  • Have to just comment, really thought this was a clear, well described, nicely paced tutorial and it helped a whole lot. Was having a b*tch of a time today with a roof and this solved my problem. Thank-you.

  • am getting oneee of 3d connex

  • Good tutor.

  • Thank you for this tutorial!

  • Sometimes you sound like the joker from the dark knight.

    Good tutorial though, thanks.

  • @Netanel17 It does sound a bit like it, doesn't it? I was just getting over a cold. The real question is, was my performance Oscar worthy?
