I just got some sort of idea of what Shion's talking about in this song, just by looking at the lyrics.

SPOILER ALERT!

In Kai, Shion sees that Satoshi is asleep in the room under the clinic.

I think when she sings, "Two years' time has passed since then. I'm two years older, too, but you're still sleeping." she's talking about how Satoshi is still in the clinic, and she's growing up without him.

And the rest of the song is talking about either her yearning for his return, and the end is when he's awake <3
