You are mistaken. Mr. Koukl did indeed say that Islam is the greastest threat to Christianity, on a global scale. In fact, the very foundational precepts of Islam are in direct conflict with western values. It is because of the prevailing shift to inclusivism, relativism and multiculturalism within the church and western culture at large that Islam is able to make inroads and impress itself upon western society.
what do you mean by saying that the the very foundational precepts of Islam are in direct conflict with western values, could you further elaborate ? and what do you mean also by saying that Islam is impressing itself on the western society?
I think one of the values of the western vulture you have just mentioned is freedom of belief , no one can impose any belief system on anyone else, isn't that true ?
and if the tendency towards openness in the church allowed Islam to grow and to 'Impose" itself upon the western society,doesn't that mean that Islam has offered to the western society things that the church couldn't fulfill ? I mean why would you fear openness and multiculturalism in church if you believe that it offers everything that a western society could possibly need and think of,I think that multiculturalism is beneficial thing to all societies,what do you say about it ?
Basically saying the church is it's own threat, as people egos, lazyness, and other errors go in the direction against the faith of the past, which we have inherit from our spirtual parents of King jr, Theasa, Martin Luther, Saint Francies, Saint Nicholes, Polycrap and the Apostles, and from Jesus himself.

@HAGROOS It's hard to say if it is on a global scale, because everyone on the globe veiws the globe differentaly. You could almost say buddhism because of it's relativist ability. Islam could be in the sense of it not being persucited like christianity is. I've seen it, your bad to insult a muslim, but a christian is justice, hmm, hard to say for me living in Canada. Really I would say it is human actions, Islam is just the second biggest threat on global scale, yet not the most lethal.

@HAGROOS we can, but to say were all right is making the relativist win which contridicts the tolerance idea. Islam is not threat in ideaology, evidence, or culture. there a threat in numbers. The west has slowed down the old way of producing believes, but in the east it still accustom to have large families, and so produce believers, christianity has to go back to 1st centery way of doing this, which is not easy when your a minority.
For the phrase, there, It means insulting christians ok.

On fundamental level I believe Christianity has the same foe as always.
That is a thinking mind that can reject it, be it manifested in church or its naturalistic variations.
However a gift of love is freedom of choice given by God. I believe He knows what He is doing.
