I absolutely LOVE how many of these Yngwie inspired (in a good way) Japanese players use the really raw and not so distorted tone similar to Yngwies tone on his earlier records..Single coils, warm overdriven marshall-kind of tone..Nowhere to hide! You have to develop clean technique otherwise it will sound like shit. Compare this to some of the overprocessed shit tones you hear from, quite a few guitar "demons"

As for Katsu, I kinda wish he wouldnt dress up like Yngwie, tacky bling 'n all, as well as sit poised in front of Yngwies' fave amp (plexi), holding a guitar which now ONLY brings to mind the swedish tendon terrorizor, while playing licks which now SCREAM Yngwie/"I want to be a viking too"...
