By the way, i have almost every kind of Metal Distortion Pedals and a few like my ToneBones & Boss Metal Zone & Mega Distortions are too over the top for my taste!!!However, have any of you had the chance to hear the "BBE AM64" American Metal Distortion Pedal?Not only does it look attractive but it has just right Metal Distortion Tone Voicing that is classy & got that late 70's & early 80's Vibe!!And don't forget that none of these effect pedals seem right without the "BBE SonicStomp"Maximizer!!
Sounds like he's using a "G&L" Legacy guitar with this Pedal as we know that "BBE" & "G&L" Products have been incorporating their "BBE" Sonic Circuitry into most of the "G&L" guitars & Bass guitars!!!You can feel the nice sustain in the voicing of the pickups!!!
@Sick1982 It wouldn't be for metal. It's more for a crunch. Basically for in between Clean and Distortion. And if you want a good metal sound I suggest the Metal Muff w/Top Boost. It's true bypass and sounds amazing!
@ArabianWoman122105 I hear gus g uses this pedal actually for a lead boost, so its good for metal i guess. i think its how you use it. im not really a fan of gus anyway so i dont know.

@CaptAntiGravity
My modded amplifier makes all distortion pedals and sonic maximizers obsolete

@ArabianWoman122105 Yea dude, what they mean for metal would be driving it in front of a dirty channel.

When I first steped on my BBE I was blinded. It sounds crazy, but it's true. In the dark it makes it imposible to see the pedal.
