Concerning the comment by paintcolorful that she was flirting with the violinist, this isn't quite what's happening. In an orchestra, the first chair violinist is called the concert master, kind of next in line after the conductor. In chamber music like this there is no conductor. The first violinist IS the conductor. So she looks at him for her ques and lets him know what she's doing, then he communicates this to the other players. It's a subtle but powerful skill in eyes and body language.
Perfecta esta interpretación. Veo que utilizas un soporte para poder tocar con las piernas al mismo nivel, con lo cual te evitaras dolores de espalda.
A proposito donde has comprado este soporte. Gracias
She is a wonderful artist for me too! btw, at 1:11 the violinists are talking together; at 1:30 Filomena gives them a black look, and then a knowing look to the cellist soon afterwards...funny.
I understand how you could like the mandolin version better...I play guitar myself, so I like the guitar version better. The version on Mandolin, Strings and Cembalo has a neat 'antique' sound. :)
This was originally "Mandolin Concerto in C major, RV 425" by Vivaldi. (Source: Wikipedia). I heard a version on Mandolin, Strings and Cembalo, and I think it sounds MUCH better on guitar. Might have sounded even better with a Harpsicord in the background. I think the last movement isn't in this video, though...it's a more upbeat movement. (She was turning the page at the end, so maybe it just didn't fit on YouTube). Great performance!
I think there is a Harpsicord in the back... but i could't hear it...
And yes, the mandolin and the guitar have different sounds... The guitar is more soft and deep... mandolin's sound is a little metalic... But as a mandolin player I prefer the original one☺...
I think you're right. There is a harpsichord in the background. It sounds like an Italian harp...the nylon strings on it sound great, but the sound doesn't carry very well. :(

Filomena .plays guitar with passion. And with the eyes, flirt a final view at 2:33 but the the violinist remains focused.
I would be upset^^

I wonder if this is Live or not.
Seems it's to a prerecorded. Not a negative critique.
It's just so perfect. She looks so animated and happy; as should be.

Bravo!!!... Five stars... But as a mandolin player... the mandolin version will be always my favorite...
P.D. I think it's played in the original C major, not in G major....
