They are afraid when their turn comes to face corruption charges, they have to comply. The government eagerly and prematurely took its independece in order to control the country's financials with an agenda to corrupt. We get financial aide from countries like the U.S and, they also lend us money which only go to the deep pockets of dirty politicians. Sad

what philippines need is its OWN engineering and manufacturing industries without foreign intervention. So it can create jobs for the Filipinos by the Filipinos and we don't have to take loans.
Shopping malls such as Mall of Asia are foreign investment so the Filipinos are forced to spend their hard earned money and the profits goes to foreigners.

Ang unang project ng bagong administration ay imbistigahan ang dating administration to discredit the good deeds the past Presidents have done. My goodness, we will never move forward this way! @mycka024 it definitely should be his primary objective - to stop corruption. We can't deny that the past administration WAS full of misdeeds. The economy might've been in good terms, but economic growth is not equal to economic development. Economic development includes both growth in gdp & gnp and also the values of people. "We will never move forward this way," you say. But we are actually moving forward with him because he is correcting the wrong, leading us to true progress.

Are we going to keep on living in the past and not moving on projects for the future? Holding back programs & projects for the betterment of our economy & country will just dig us deeper into the sewer. Sure investigations and fact findings for mistakes, involvements of past President Gloria should be in place but not on media blitz but to the Courts. File the cases you wish in court and not wasting all the time of the senate hearings. Akala ko ba CHANGE ang MOTO! Wala naman pagbabago.

I am not satisfied with his SONA!!! I waited for Pinoy to mention developments of OPAP headed by Sec. Ging Deles for the Peace Process of conflicts between Bangsamoro / Muslims & govt. but nothing mentioned. Whatever for this administration is spending millions, if not billions, for attending peace process meetings abroad by OPAP delegates? This conflict had been going on for ages and many past Presidents. We were better off during Marcos regime few years after Martial Law.

Action speaks louder than words, malakas ang konpiansa ng mga mamamayan na ma convict at makulong ang mga gumawa ng katiwalian ngyari sa administration ni GMA gaya ng extrajudicial killings, massacre sa Mindanao subalit kulang ang pagprotektahan ang mga witness na mag testigo laban sa mga Ampatuan kaya napatay sila. Ang justice system ay napakahina upang mabawasan ang mga kurap na nasa gobierno. Hangang may pagbabago dito walang magawa si Pnoy sa mga madilim na eksenang ngyayari sa ating bansa.

for now we couldn't feel the better changes in our economy, but we should have at least a bit or lots of patience because i think PNOY would not be elected and will not run as our president if he doesn't have a plan to follow. so we should trust him for him to be able to give us a better results, anyway he still have 5years to do everything he has promised to us.
