That is a great idea. My husband is in education and his principal gave his staff that same plant for Christmas. The tag said: Where you are planted grow, Happy Holidays. (they can't say Merry Christmas in public school here). Our plant grew like crazy. Great idea folks and Lana is right when you look at that plant you do think of the person who gave it.

i gave gardenia plants (not cut flowers, i do not care to give thing to people that will for sure die) for christmas a few years ago. every one (even the boys) loved it.

That is a very thoughtful gift Lana. When I began working too much to care for my indoor plants I put my english ivy in the front beneath by shrubs...not whenever I return to Indiana my front porch is over run with the viney stuff! <<<<< I used to take a coat hanger, shape it into a heart and make homemade topiarys sp*? for my friends.....they loved it. xoxo

@misscecebeauty Really? I had NO idea what it was! I picked it up in the Spring at Kmart for $4.00 and thought it was cute by the door on a plant stand but it just came ALIVE when I repotted it and brought it in the house. I love to give personal gifts like this and hope she will love it too!
