  • I listened to this album a million times 25 years ago. And I still look to it this day. Timeless!

Fabulous! " Why do I move with a crowd of kids that hardly notice I'm around? I work myself to death just to fit in."

  • This album probably saved my life when I was fifteen.

Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam said this album helped him deal with his problems to.

  • best album of all time!

  • This album should be given to everyone on their 13th birthday. Pete Townshend is unparalleled as a songwriter in my opinion, this whole album is just incredible from the first second to the last, and I've heard it a hundred times or more and I still haven't tired of it.

  • One of my favorite albums. Moon kicks ass and Entwhitle zooming basses

  • John Entwistle is a god-tier bass player.

  • shut the fuck up & enjoy damn

  • every who album with keith moon was amazing...quadrophenia, is a 5 star album but its not their best...i still reccomend it to anybody who likes good music

  • I bought this album when I was a teen, I remember the feelings I felt when I wore this record out. It's funny beacuse I still get those same feelings today when I listen to it. But now Im thinking of my kids, and not me anymore.

  • This was my theme song for quite awhile... They made me feel like I wasnt alone during the teen years. Thank you Pete for creating a masterpiece...

  • 1:09 God I love that guitar. I'm only 24 but somehow it just brings out such feelings of nostalgia.

  • These lyrics are so true, that I'm convinced Pete experienced alot of what he intimated. Been there and felt just like that...Mr Townshend. Thank you for wrenching this out of your soul.

  • @steele917 if you want stuff from his soul, look up the Who By Numbers haha

  • no words

  • 24 peoples fried eggs makes them sick in the morning

  • My lord, Townshend was a master rock composer.

  • This was evidentally the first quadrophonic album, when it was on vinyl. Quadrophonic sound systems went the way of the buffalo though. The un-remastered track of this song had some external dialogue, including someone saying, "You're on," just before Pete went into the second verse. I kind of wish they'd left that on the remaster, because to me it always bespoke a double meaning, in alluding to the fights between the Mods and the Rockers.

  • Best song of the best rock album of ALL TIME

  • "that uncertain feeling is still here in my brain." aye.

  • Dressed Right For a Beach Fight!!!!!!

  • ZOOT SOOT

  • my fav track of all
