We need to move away from money and toward a new system that recognizes these problems as technical. We need a Resource Based Economy and we need to begin building now.
It's weird - the cause of this global problem seems to be a mystery, or blamed on biofuels and over-population.
Yes biofuels do take crops away from the food market, and yes there are a ridiculous number of people on the planet. But the problem reflected in the many videos is not a scarcity of food but it's price, which invariably rises due to packaging and transport costs. These will continue to rise with the price of oil. I'm hoping to be self sufficient soon but it wont be easy in the UK.
start buying canned goods and i mean ones you enjoy eating. i mean hundreds of cans if possible! powdered milk and powdered potatoes go a long way also.. flour, butter, beans, rice, pasta!!!
It's only a matter of time till we see people here is the states rioting. Gas is now 3.25 and only going up. Milk is about the same to fill a truck carry food to stores $1,000 thats filling it once.
Wait until the people of the world find out that there never was a fuel shortage. The world 'elite' have decided in there secret meetings to cause major starvation around the world to facillitate their 'culling' of the population by 4/5ths!. (Wars don't sit right with most "little people".) Britain has had HUGE success in starving over 28,000,000 people in Ireland & India.The U.S., Britain & Israel have starved tens of millions in Africa. Why do you think they want corn in your gas tank?
Unlike you, I'm educated and informed. Now you can add 'stupid' to your resume- you refuse to learn. You COULD look up what I'm saying here for yourself. You won't do that though. That would take effort. You might have to think. Stay with your flock and keep your head in the sand. We ALL end up paying because of morons like YOU!!

Im not a farmer. I just live in the area. So I know how people in Arizona think its the farmers in Ill.s job to market their crops for food. They can do with as they wish. If you had a garden in your back yard I wouldnt come onto your property and take a little here and there. those are your crops. sell it or eat it. sell it for fuel or build a lettuce statue and sell it. What ever you want. I hope you have your own garden to eat off off. Its your garden.
I notice your the one who mentions mega farms. Your the same one who probably is angry at subsidies. Those were in place to keep the smaller family farms afloat during the hard times. like the 80's (when farmers couldnt give their crops away)so the larger inc farms wouldnt clear them out. To get rid of subsidies would be fine but dont get pissed when 1 rich farming asshole owns everything.
