  • Bill,

What a great arrangement. Even greater playing. Your tone is killer too. I have been playing Blanton guitars as long as I have been playing. I have others, but I always come back to the Blantons. It has to be the most underrated guitar ever built. I really enjoyed this and i hope you post more. You are a great player.

  • Wonderful playing Bill. I was planning to put this song on my repertory, and I was just wondering what kind of arrangement I should use. Well, after whatching your video, I guess I'll use your style. Thank you for posting it and my best regards.

  • @riccardoscala Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I do like that kind of an arrangement for this song, it gives it a nice up-beat feel.

  • Bill, I sure do love the sound of the Blanton! Jerry sure knows how to build them for great sound. I hear a difference between that one and your Emmons in the background. Yo are writing about hum on SGF...I can't hear any here for sure!

Is that the original Blanton PUP you have in it? It sounds superb to my ears!

  • Well played. . . .. and a good old number.

  • Very well played. The beat of the tune is very good,.thanks for the music.

  • @MrKHLoo Thank you! I did a gig with Tab Beniot and he does a smokin' version of Jambalaya. I got the idea for the "beat" from him!

  • Very nice ! Bayou, bayou

Jambalaya and a craw fish pie and fillet gumbo......

    Have a nice day !

  • Wonderful stuff..thanks for the info. I suppose you and your kin know that Joaquin Murphy made a cozy studio album before he passed...probably about 7-9 years ago..?

  • Have to ask...what was your backing material? thanks...I played along with my 52 les paul on a roland acoustic chorus 100...seemed a nice match.

Wonderful full sound...and excellent recording to youtube.

  • @sclogse1 Backing material was put together by myself using midi drums and bass from Logic Pro. I then added guitar. I had to write the backing track pretty much section by section to get the right accents etc...

  • Whooyaa! Great music, Bill!

  • Sounds great ! Come on back to Texas !

  • Fantástico!!!
