I couldn't stand most of this album when I heard the songs performed by the artists that wrote them, but when Myles Kennedy performed them on the live in stoke album they sounded great. Its probably because of Myles but slashs riffs are actually solid and I guess the record wasnt as bad as I preiosly thought. plus his chops are at an all time high on live in stoke.

@stalkerboobs quite honestly you need those pickups and a marshall to get the perfect sound, but mostly the marshall is needed. you can experiment with it, try a little reverb half bass 1/4 mis ant 3/4 high with varying amounts of gain.

Slash is prolly one of THE most overrated guitarists ever. Sure, he's amazing at guitar. But compared to the likes of Tom Morello, Steve Vai, Yngwie Malmsteem, Phil X, etc. he is trashy.
