what happens if the mountain that you want to go over is not a mountain but rather an inflatable mount that someone can inflate or deflate it at will. So even if you check the wether and calculate your distance the person may want inflate the mount so high that you won't make it or deflate it so low that you become entangled with its mess. If one goes bad, the others are still there.

Currently most major banks offer interest rates lower then the fees of having a savings account.
at .15% interest your 1000 dollars will be worth, 1009 dollars in only 6 years!
Minus 2 dollars in ATM fees twice a month... and owch you only got 865 dollars now.
:p in todays world you gotta do your homework even for the "safe" routes.

Actually an Investment is fairly proven to grow at the rate you suspect for Mathematically proven reason.
Speculation is what he mentioned in this video.
In the 1900's there was a huge difference. That difference isn't seen here much anymore.
An example of a real investment is buying half a company that has a monopoly on the market, or has few to no competitors.
Another investment is buying a company that has stock undervalued than their actual paper value in assets. No risk at all in any.

Putting your money in a savings account is a bad idea, with an interest rate of 2% while inflation is around 10%, you are throwing away your money. Not to mention that fractional reserve lending and central banking are the real threat to America. If you are planning on investing in stocks and bonds you're also in for a rough ride.
Invest in precious metals that have an underlined value. Invest in land. Or in your business.

I didn't see they CANT be manipulated, its the exception, not the rule. Sure there are Enron and AIG, but they didnt manipulate stocks. they lied about their books, which is completely different. and as a result, their companies DIED. That has nothing to do with the market

also please explain to me, why stocks are going up when unemployment is soaring, consumer confident is all time low, national deficit is all time high, banks are practically insolvent, and commercial real estate is on the verge of collapsing. Where do these companies get the money from to substantiate their growth and profitability? It sounds like someone needs to see more than just this video.

what happens if the mountain that you want to go over is not a mountain but rather an inflatable mount that someone can inflate or deflate it at will. So even if you check the wether and calculate your distance the person may want inflate the mount so high that you won't make it or deflate it so low that you become entangled with its mess. Stock market is completely manipulated, so don't invest.

Every stock has a dollar amount, and the company has no control over it whatsoever. It's foolish to call it manipulated. If it could b, everyone would be a millionaire. You obviously know nothing about the market if you're calling it a conspiracy. There's no logical way to control it, there are too many determining factors (like investors, profit margins, and market strength). It's only sounds like a conspiracy to the uneducated
